Came here for the free hot shower. It’s a metal cabin with grated floors. Unlimited time. No outlets inside. Some air dryer that seems to help with drying hair.

We stopped here to drop some grey water. Looks ok!

Station is good with a almost all the services and in full working condition . But lot of trucks and they even parked even at car parking lots - occupying 6 lots each truck .

The outdoor sink has very low pressure; filling 10 liters takes over 5 minutes. Toilet emptying is fine, but there is no water for rinsing. Drive there, dump the waste, wash your paws, eat something at the food stand, and get thoroughly filthy so you can test the showers right away. :-D We were here today and everything was functional and clean. Unfortunately, there seem to be too many creatures without manners, judging by how often I read that the station is unusable. Waste disposal in Aargau is a disgrace! In two months I tried three times to dispose of waste in Birrhard. Unfortunately, there is no other option anywhere nearby—20 km to drive, and it was impossible. The first time there was construction and it was closed; the second time it was blocked by parked vehicles and sewage was overflowing; the third time it was blocked again and everything was overflowing again. Quite crowded with trucks; the car parking area is right next to the motorway, so you can hear the cars passing, but with earplugs you sleep wonderfully! Perfect showers.✦Translating

Unique, at least in the region, but only in the direction of Bern. All other rest areas have only toilets and trash bins. No wastewater or toilet disposal, and certainly no showers. In the evening, however, the place is usually full, mainly with Eastern European trucks.✦Translating

If a truck parks over the place for dropping grey water and he doesn’t want to move, call Kantonspolizei Aargau. The guys arrived in less than 5 mins and “convinced” the trucker to move.

We could empty the wc and black water but the water there doesn't work

Good spot to pull right off the motorway to fill your bot bots up and clean ya bits and bobs all for free!

Great. Free showers, clean toilets, and you can refill water containers. If you do not want to shower, the toilets are designed so you can wash your bottom: the toilet seat folds completely up and a tap is positioned at the side so the stream goes directly into the center of the drain.✦Translating
