Small parking area beside Aasleag Falls, with mountain and rhododendron views and a short nearby walk. It is peaceful at night with the sound of the waterfall, but traffic increases in the morning and during daytime visits. There are no services or bins, and longer vehicles may need to occupy several spaces.

Convenient place to park briefly to see the waterfall. With our long motorhome, 7.5 meters, we could park across several spaces. We only used it for short daytime parking, which was not a problem.
A quiet motorhome site, right by the road but with hardly any cars passing at night. The waterfall provides background noise, which only helped us sleep.
Lovely area and convenient to park. The waterfalls are just opposite. Quiet night although more activity during the day with cars stopping and leaving again after visiting the waterfalls briefly (you can’t get up close because the land is privately owned).
What a wonderful place, between the green mountains and right near a waterfall. You are close to a beautiful abbey and Connemara National Park. Just a short drive away.
Beautiful, small car park on both sides of the road, from which you can hike to the river and waterfalls.
Great little spot, but we fled because of the midges.
Roadside parking for 2 to 3 motorhomes, parked diagonally. Beautiful view of the river. Hiking nearby. Quiet in the evening and at night, but trucks and cars pass in the morning. No services or bin.
Worth a walk up the path at sunset. Beautiful photo ops. Parked up and by night all visitors had left and I had a quiet night. Be careful if wandering off up the hill. I fell in a bog.
The parking spaces are too short for a 7 m motorhome. At the Killary Fjord Viewpoint a few kilometers farther on, you are better off and there is a picnic table.
Many more parking spaces are available than the 3 or 4 indicated. Free and quiet despite being beside the road, but quite sloping. Just a short walk from Aasleagh Falls; the sound of the water lulled us to sleep all night. We were woken early in the morning by a group of trekking youngsters. Recommended overall.
Perfect for a van. Easy hike and salmon jumping in the waterfall. Three cars stayed overnight. Relatively sheltered from the wind.
Good place to spend the night and/or visit the waterfall. A motorhome over 6.5 m will not fit in one space, so you should occupy several spaces. For this reason, we only visited the waterfall, saw the salmon, and spent the night in Leenaun.
Wonderful place to stay for a night. Lovely and peaceful. Our motorhome is 7 meters long, but we parked across several spaces. Otherwise, the rear would be too close to the road. We saw the salmon jumping. A beautiful sight.
