Kirchstraße 21, 99867, Gotha
Been here?
A private meadow parking space in a quiet rural setting overlooking the Thuringian Forest, with a 15min walk to the Gotha Hospital tram stop. Electricity is available for a fee, but there are no other supply facilities. Access leads past the allotments and up a meadow track, although the listed space has recently been difficult to find. A playground is on site, and pools are 3km away.

Unfortunately, I could not find a parking spot at the stated address. I also failed to reach the owner by email; there was no response. Asking passers-by did not help either—no one knew anything about a parking spot. A shame after all the time and driving.Translating
Very quiet, basic parking spot. Electricity available for a fee if needed. Very nice operators. Access is via the village road, past the allotment gardens. Turn right directly behind the gardens and drive up the meadow path until a meadow opens up. Just park anywhere there. The owner will then come.Translating
Beautifully located spot at the edge of a field. Very friendly and extremely uncomplicated arrangement with the landlord. I spent 3 wonderfully quiet nights here and will definitely come back! Great connection to Gotha via the Thüringer Waldbahn; the Krankenhaus stop is about a 15-minute walk away. You can also take the train to Erfurt. The Deutschlandticket is valid on the tram too—excellent!Translating
Excellent parking spot with electricity. We stayed here for 2 days and were completely alone. Very quiet, with a beautiful view of the Inselsberg.Translating
Fantastic spot, very isolated. I spent a day here completely by myself. Good 5G reception (Telekom). The fact that there are no facilities is exactly what makes it special and keeps most people from coming here.Translating
The spot is at the end of the village. I contacted the friendly owner by phone beforehand. Very quiet and clean meadow for relaxing. We spent a peaceful night there. The price is okay; in Gotha I would probably have paid the same for quiet parking.Translating
The spot is at the end of the village road, so it is best to call the very friendly owner beforehand. Very quiet meadow for relaxing. We spent a peaceful night with an unobstructed view of nature. However, €15 seems far too expensive for a place without facilities.Translating
