Good place to stay overnight. Yes it’s windy but doesn’t affect your visit. Great view of The Needles and lovely surroundings including a nature reserve, Hurst Spit, Hurst Castle & lighthouse. Loads of walking options. Took advantage of the hour either side of the signpost so were able to stay 18:00 to 10:00! Highly recommend. Translating
Stayed here on a Saturday night, other than persons walking past to visit the restaurant and the odd car, it was a quiet night. It can be windy here, but we used the pile of rocks as a wind barrier so did not experience any problems. A waste bin is available in the adjacent car park just up the road. Do not leave any trace of your visit, keep this spot available for other vans lifers.Translating
Fantastic spot to pull up for the night. Lots of dog walkers & some cars going down to the restaurant/bar (might be more on weekends), but dead quiet after 10pm until at least 9. When the wind gets up it’s a bit blustery, but otherwise a great spot. Stick to the parking rules during the day & leave no trace & hopefully this spot will stay available in what is a very difficult area to find parks. Translating
Ideal spot for the night, absolutely recommended.Translating
Perfect. Several vans parked up on the road. Little to no traffic. Locals all smiled and said hello. Toilets are 10 minutes walk, open 8am-8pm. Glorious sunrise.Translating
Very good spot, quiet overnight, great walks in the area, beautiful scenery with Needles on one side and Keyhaven on the other side. Great for fishing.Translating
lovely and quiet, in between the lighthouse bar and restaurant and the needles cafe, no street lights where you park so you'll need a torchTranslating
Stopped for lunch and only an hour fee parking great view highly recommend but probably very busy in summer. The lighthouse looks nice for lunch or coffee Translating
Stayed here last night. The weather looked ok but the wind picked up in the night rocking it violently and waves were crashing onto our campervan roof. In the morning our van was coated in sand and salt and there were stones on the road washed up by the waves. Check the tide times and the wind before staying here!Translating
Lovely view of the sea, IoW and the needles. Nice staff at the pub (had a drink and used the loo). Two other vans - max space says 4, but I reckon at least six could stay. Not bothered at all by the locals - all in all a lovely stop. Could do with a loo :)Translating
There are only car parks with many empty spaces all along the road leading to this spot. We were not completely comfortable because of that, but we were not disturbed. If you like taking a quick swim in the sea before the evening, this is ideal! We had a converted van.Translating
Beautiful view, very quiet and little frequented. It is a dead-end road. Considering the seaside parking situation around here, that is not to be overlooked.Translating
Free from restrictions at 7 p.m. It is a bit tight to turn around at the end, but possible. The seafront car park is not motorhome- or camper-friendly, even during the day.Translating
fantastic night stop listening to the waves rumbling in the background, The Lighthouse Restaurant is to be recommended, good simple food at reasonable prices. looking forward to the view in the morning when we should be able to see the Isle of White Needles.Translating
Amazing view. Public toilets a five-minute walk away, open 24/7. It was very windy, though, and the street was quite busy with people and cars leaving the bar until 10 p.m., as well as hikers from early morning. We were not disturbed, though.Translating
Great place for the night. Three other vans up the road. No problems apart from high winds.Translating
