Been here?
This calm lakeside parking area beside a local beach offers a quiet overnight stay, shallow water and a broad sandy beach. The current fee is 150 SEK, but there are no services or waste bins. Houses and cabins are close to the parking area. The spot is not winter-maintained or plowed.

A lovely gem just south of Vilhelmina. Vilhelmina Mission Church allows motorhomes and caravans to stay here if you pay 150 kronor. I hope everyone pays so that we can continue using such beautiful places!
A quiet place by a local beach where you can sleep for one night. Costs around 150 kronor per night. No facilities; cabins and houses are close by.
We spent a quiet night here and the place is clean, but unfortunately it still has no rubbish bins. NEW: the site now costs SEK 150!
Simple and good when traveling alone. Lovely lake view. Shallow water. I think it is worth 100 kronor. You can wash yourself in the lake.
The place looks okay, although there are houses very close by. Unfortunately, the spot is not maintained or plowed in winter, so we moved on.
Quiet place near the lake. There are cabins nearby.
The paid one: beautifully located on the beach. That is all there is to it. For 100 SEK, there could at least be a trash bin. The free one: a few meters behind the parking area, a very beautiful and large pitch surrounded by forest, without any facilities but free.
Many thanks to the town for officially allowing us to stay overnight here for 100 SEK. Great place with a great view.
Quiet place with access to the lake. The surroundings are rather a lost place. No services, but 100 SEK is already expensive for that.
Ok for a short stop or a night, but it is not the nicest place we have visited. It is the parking lot to the local bath and when the weather is nice there is not much space for camping left. No services not even a trashcan for 100SEK. We left after a quick bath.
We have now visited this place for an overnight stay for the fourth time. It is wonderfully quiet, with a sandy beach and excellent swimming water.
It was absolutely quiet for us. We stayed overnight with two other motorhomes. Beautiful place, changing rooms, wide beach. The water is quite shallow at the beach.
We used it as a stopover on the Vildmarksvägen, and it is okay for that. It is heavily used by families of Arab origin who leave a lot of rubbish behind, including food scraps. 100 kronor per night is okay, but there should at least be a trash bin. Only for vehicles that can stay self-sufficiently. To those with rooftop tents: there are no toilets or anything else here; go to the campsite!
100 SEK payable by credit card via QR code, or in cash at the yellow house at the end of the parking area.
Everything said previously is basically correct. However, there are now signs in four languages saying that 100 kronor must be paid. It no longer looks like a donation, especially since they also mention that someone will come to check. We did not stay and looked for somewhere else.
We stayed there for one night—near a small group of houses, but idyllic and quiet. :)
This is a nice spot, when we arrived at noon it was empty. Now it is 15 motor homes, this is too many. If you see a really crowded spot please drive on there are many places and lots of space here in the north. Don't be selfish because this is a place where people from Vilhelmina come to bathe and relax. If they can't find a parking space it will soon be a no camping sign up.
Very beautiful pitch, very quiet and relaxed. We stayed there with six other motorhomes. Dreamlike view over the lake, although it was very chilly because of the wind.
Super beautiful place, very quiet, many campers but enough space.
lovely spot for the night just off the main road. some houses around but there didn't seem to be a problem and it was quiet. nice beach and access to the lake too!
