River parking, loud motorists

Several large tarmac car parks sit beside the river in the village centre, near a small bridge and pretty promenade. There are no services, but shops are nearby. Recent stays have been seriously disrupted by loud motorists drifting and revving beside campers.

The site is beautifully located by the river and directly in the center, but we too were driven away by car show-offs.Translating
The town, police, and residents cannot get the problem of drivers loudly showing off and terrorizing guests under control. We then drove to the motorhome site, but the drivers followed us there and continued harassing us. We decided to move on. The drivers followed us for about 20 km, repeatedly overtaking and intimidating us. Whether things will be better next summer, 2026, remains to be seen.Translating
Nothing charming, car maniacs drifting next to our camper while our baby was asleep. Had to drive in the middle of the night to another spot.
