Been here?
This compacted gravel car park is a quiet daytime parking area at the bottom of Kitt Hill, with easy road access and walks nearby. A sign on the rock says no overnight camping. The ground is slightly sloped, there are no facilities, and a dog-waste bin is a little way up the path.

I live locally, but decided to park up here in my Vauxhall Combo van on probably one of the coldest nights of last year. I set the (retro fitted) diesel heater at 8 degrees and slept like a log all night. A very quiet place to park with virtually no road noise. Generally used by dog walkers as there’s a very steep climb up to Kit Hill summit along with other walks around the hill. Martin.
Relatively calm spot except for the occasional dog walker. Ground is sturdy with place for plenty of campers/MHs. Just nothing special to it worty of 5 stars
We were here for one night, but the weather became rainy. We stayed three nights while waiting for more favorable weather to return. A good, quiet stopover. Nice walk to discover the landscape at the top of the hill.Translating
