Been here?
A daytime-only wild parking spot for one van, reached by a rocky, bumpy and hilly track. It offers a quiet position with a clear 360-degree panorama and striking sunsets, near hiking and cycling routes. The 4G antenna is not considered disturbing, but overnight stays and wild camping are prohibited, with regular checks by the gendarmerie.

Peaceful spot with a beautiful view.
Good daytime spot, but unfortunately, as in all the municipalities of southern Ardèche, wild camping and overnight stays are prohibited; the gendarmerie checks regularly!
Great spot, quiet, with a superb view and an excellent sunset. Be careful: in the morning, a man comes by in a red van and records the license plates, even though there is no sign prohibiting driving up or camping. Hiking and cycling paths nearby.
Great spot, with room for only one or two vehicles farther up the road past the antenna tower, offering 360-degree views. Backup spots are by the antenna. The road is rocky and bumpy.
Beautiful 360-degree view, with the sunset as a bonus. Easy access without taking the rough route. I recommend this quiet place, accompanied by the sound of cicadas.
The road is a little rough, but we were able to access it by van. It is fairly easy to turn around. The place is clean and very quiet; we were alone. The view is unobstructed and very pretty, and the 4G antenna is not a nuisance at all. We were even lucky enough to see fireworks in the distance! Recommended.
Quiet place with a 360-degree view. Excellent, but beware of the rocky road.
Difficult spot to access! Stop at the antenna; going farther risks damage. The antenna is not bothersome at all, and the spot offers a beautiful view and sunset.
The access route is very difficult for vehicles. We did not go all the way to avoid possible accidents. We do not recommend it. Raph & Mimi
Very peaceful spot with a beautiful unobstructed view for enjoying the sunset! Many mosquitoes, but unfortunately that was the case everywhere. At the foot of a 4G tower, but with no disadvantage. Go for it!
Magnificent site, with a small parking platform near a young oak tree overlooking Chauzon. A few steps provide easy access for a van. Turning area a little higher up. Recommended, but please leave nothing behind!
Driveable road with a few small flat spots where a limited number of vehicles can stay. Quiet, although you can hear cars echoing below.
Quiet spot, driveable road, but stay alert. Good 4G and TV reception. Nothing to complain about.
With a RAV4, I pushed much farther up, and it was fantastic.
A great place. We ate there but had to leave when the gendarmes arrived to warn us that wild camping was prohibited and that they could fine us the next morning. So we left.
