Quiet garden stop, paid showers

I agree with the previous reviews. Vasili is very kind and helpful; we found all the facilities, including the shower. We had a great stay.

Although we arrived without a reservation, Vasili welcomed us very warmly at the gate. He showed us his small collection of traditional clothing and tools inside and outside the house and told us their stories. Vasili showed us the vegetable garden for campers and supplied us with fresh produce. We spent two quiet nights in Vasili’s garden and felt very comfortable.

We stayed here for one night. Communication was very easy in English by phone. We were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind host, who knows a great deal about the customs and traditions of the region. We would stay here again at any time.

Simply spectacular, a place to spend the night or as long as you like. Vasili’s attentiveness and friendliness make you feel at home. He offered us a tasting of local products from his own harvest. Everything is very well maintained, and he goes out of his way to make you comfortable. His hospitality is greatly appreciated. He also sells delicious duck eggs and has all the services available.

A truly wonderful place! A warm-hearted owner who generously gave us vegetables from his garden. Even with our 7.50 m vehicle, we managed well in the large garden. We would gladly return!

A very lovely encounter with Basile, who welcomes us into his garden. Fishermen will be delighted with the river at the bottom of the property. A very friendly and authentic welcome for campers.

A good place to spend the night or a few days. It is a local guesthouse where the owners are very kind. €10 to spend the night and €3 per person for a shower. It has all the facilities and the possibility of dressing in traditional clothing.

The owner is super friendly. We stayed one night and everything was perfect! €10 including electricity. Very good explanations of what to see in the area. He has a small vegetable garden and gave us some produce. We would definitely come back.

A wonderful welcome from Vassile and his wife. A large gate for entering with a motorhome. Flat ground. Vassile has a small museum where he keeps objects from different periods of Romanian history. He also showed us a traditional Romanian room, and our daughters were able to put on traditional costumes. There is a water point. There is a small supermarket 50 m away. Superb spot.

Vassile welcomes you kindly, offering advice and help. He shows you beautiful places and knows about all the activities in Maramureș. He is a guide to the region. I recommend him. Super welcome!

A lovely place and a very nice and kind host! The place is in the yard of the family's house that operates a boarding house, there is a toilet and shower, a kitchen and everything you need.

An incredibly helpful and friendly host who drove us around the local area and gave us good suggestions for trips. Large garden where you can spend time and pick your own vegetables. Highly recommended.

A quiet pitch with a wonderful view. The omnipresent and very attentive Vasile takes devoted care of his guests. There are vegetables to pick yourself and clear drinking water from the property's own well. Hot showers, water and waste disposal, everything is very clean. Excursions into Romanian customs and history. Many tips for trips in the nearby area. Also highly recommended for children and dogs.

Super nice host. We came here without giving notice in advance and were still very nicely welcomed (with Palinca). They seem to be currently renovating, showers and WC were still available though. As mentioned in one comment before, there are some attempts to provide you with extra items (hint: transparency). We paid 50 lei/night for 2 ppl in a camper 10 lei for showers (no elec.), fair priced.

During these three days, while we stayed in his garden, Vasile welcomed us and shared his culture with us, showing us traditions from his region—meals, costumes, washhouse, etc.—and pointing out things to do. There is a shower, toilet, electricity—everything at Vasile's. Our dog was able to roam freely in his garden because it is fenced. Some old dogs are also present, but they are very gentle.

This place is important for anyone wanting to visit the Maramureș region. Vasile can advise you about the history and places to visit. We stayed several days and highly recommend it.
