This large gravel parking area overlooks the Rondane National Park and offers extensive views in a quiet, open landscape. A 40 k toll applies on the gravel road leading there. The site has ample space, nearby walking routes, and fenced shafts from an abandoned mine. Recent visits also noted beautiful sunsets, birdlife, and evidence of reindeer and moose.

Large gravel parking area in a beautiful, expansive landscape. Birdsong all day long. There is plenty of space; we were lucky to be alone. The 40 kroner toll can only be paid with the Norwegian Beral app. The account number does not have an IBAN, so make sure you have cash kroner with you. We withdrew money from an ATM in the village. The fine is 400 kroner if you do not pay.
Wonderful, peaceful place with great hiking trails and fantastic views in every direction.
Nice place, and we were alone here. Sunshine practically the entire evening because no trees block the view. The road up here is a little scary, though.
Magnificent view of the national park; the sunset is breathtaking. The road is more than suitable for vans and should not be a problem for a motorhome. There are beautiful short walks for enjoying the view. Numerous signs of reindeer, moose and even wolves passing through. With a bit of luck, you may be able to see them!
