Been here?
A quiet riverside parking place at a small bend of the Ribeira de Odeleite, with some slope and little or no water when the river is dry. The adjacent restaurant serves generous, inexpensive, traditional local food without a menu. The restaurant owners are described as very friendly and welcoming, and overnight stays are generally peaceful.

A perfect place to rest and spend a quiet night. Highly recommended to stop for a drink at the bar so they get to know you and know that you are there to sleep. The drinks and food are very inexpensive, and the people running the restaurant are very kind and welcoming.
We had planned one stopover, which became three nights, with three dinners that were always just as good. Family-style cooking and a wonderful welcome from the proprietors. Quiet nights beside the river.
Very hospitable, delicious food.
Beautiful spot directly by the river. However, it is private. Not a single other motorhome here in March. We decided against staying overnight.
For those who like peace and quiet, this is a wonderful place to stay. We had delicious food by order.
Beautiful motorhome spot with a slight slope, directly by the river. A restaurant right nearby serves tasty local dishes, and you will have trouble finishing everything.
After a severe thunderstorm, there was a lot of water in the river... impressive! I was there on Sunday. The restaurant opened at 1 p.m., and I ate until I was completely full. Bring a good appetite—the portions are generous and huge! Great.
Very quiet Place, the restaurant owners are super nice and approachable! No river anymore, sadly it drought! But still worthy it if you wanna spend the night at a quiet place away from cities messes…
Go there; it is truly authentic, and the few residents, including the proprietors, are very kind. We ate at the restaurant (very good, delicious, and inexpensive). We slept alone with the doors open while goats and sheep passed beside the van (the shepherd comes in for a drink). If you do not like driving in the mountains, do not come.
Fantastic place to spend a night. The restaurant owners are super friendly. When we asked whether we could eat at their restaurant, they specially lit the barbecue for us, and we had a delicious meal for little money. Meanwhile, the local sheep and goats wandered around our camper. A wonderful place to experience Portuguese rural life in the mountains!
Beautiful location by the river with water slides and a viewing area (for swimming), plus a cozy café-restaurant.
