This huge car park behind the sports hall has asphalt at the front and gravel at the rear. The rear section is quieter and suitable for an overnight stop near the motorway. It is used by various sports groups and organisations, but recent visits describe it as peaceful and safe. Mobile phone and satellite reception are very good.

View, peace, safety—excellent for a stopover.
A large parking area at the sports park, used by various athletes and organizations. It is surprisingly quiet at the back. We had a pleasant night. There was one other motorhome there. Very good phone and satellite reception.
Asphalt at the front; gravel at the back with less road noise. Better than the motorhome stop at the roundabout in town.
if you're looking for a quiet place to spend the night just off the motorway then this place is absolutely fine. I've used it a couple of times. better than sleeping on the roundabout in town imo.
Smells of manure, noisy, dirty, motorcycle track next door, poor reception. Yuck.
This is not a place in nature!
Large, level parking area where it is possible to spend the night.
Perfect for walking the dogs along the promenade; it is a very large and practically level parking area.
