A841, KA27 8HA, Isle of Arran
Been here?
A daytime parking area beside the water and golf course, with beautiful cliff views and space for about 6 vehicles when parked considerately. Overnight parking is no longer allowed, with clear signs in place. The shore is quiet, with bins nearby, and a 3 km path through the golf course leads to Kings Cave.

No overnight parking
No overnight parking anymore. New signage appeared between beginning July and end August’24. Looks like same signage as used at golf club..
Just been to check it out big No Overnight Parking sign unfortunately
Nice spot. Very quiet, enough space for maybe 6 if you park correctly. Relaxing sound of the sea. Plenty of bins around. Would return.
Loved this spot. Friendly locals, amazing view and a lush bakery down the road! Would use again.
Fab spot next to the beach. Quite windy. Rubbish, dog waste and recycling bins. (We were too late for any golf course facilities but black waste dump 5 min drive down the road). Good for dogs, little unlevel. Quiet and peaceful.
One of the best park ups we have stayed at and on such a beautiful island. Great walks and great location for paddle boarding. We paddled to Kings Cave, which is worth a visit.
Great place to stop and close to toilet facilities, including CDP emptying. Gents shut due to drains blocked due to people emptying CPD containing wet wipes! Don’t do that!
Great location on shore side. Slightly sloping free gravel parking. About 8 stayed all parked considerately. Dog walkers coming and going. Quiet night. Tremendous sunset and view over to Kintyre. Bins only here. CDP with donation behind community maintaindd toilets opposite hotel. Great walk along coast past Doon Hill to Kings Cave.
Very beautiful view and a peaceful pitch in the car park near the golf course. Lovely walk from this spot to King's Cave.Translating
Very beautiful view, good walk via the golf course—beware, they shoot on sight—a little too much daytime traffic, with many dog walkers and golfers.Translating
