A pleasant daytime parking and picnic area beside the Nisa dam, with tables, a public grill, a sink and running water. The dam is accessible for swimming, and toilets and a shower are available across the road. Overnight stays are forbidden because the area is within Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede.

Wonderful area next to the Nisa Dam. There is a barbecue and a sink, as well as some picnic tables. And the dam is great for taking a dip!
Beautiful. There are also toilets and a shower across the road.
Good place to spend the afternoon, have lunch, listen to the birds, and walk alongside the dam :)

A very beautiful and peaceful place to stop, rest, and eat at one of the many picnic tables. I would come back.
A picnic area (table, barbecue, water tap, rubbish bin), but also a natural setting beside a lake with small “beaches” making swimming easy and accessible to everyone. Many possibilities for parking, especially on the peninsula but also farther away. Easy access, lots of space, peaceful, shade, sun... Excellent.
