Unnamed Road, 976 56, Pohronská Polhora
Been here?
A lakeside wild spot suitable for an overnight stay, with several places for about 5-7 campers. It is busy during the day but relatively quiet at night, although the nearby road remains audible. The entrance is very uneven and some parking areas are sloping, while a hiking trail starts nearby. A recommended restaurant is within walking distance, and the area is a useful base for exploring on foot.

A peaceful place at night by the pond. More cars during the day. I recommend visiting the koliba and the legendary Zbojská buns. A starting point for hiking.
Space for about 5–7 campers, partly uneven, and a very bumpy entrance, but possible with our 7.80 m van. The nearby restaurant is highly recommended. Relatively quiet at night.
Nice place to sleep but pretty busy and right next to the road. It was pretty quiet during the night but I could still hear some cars coming and going. Nice hiking trail starts nearby.
We stood directly by the lake. The place gets three stars. The described hiking trail through the riverbed is absolutely recommended, but because of the climbing irons it is only suitable for sure-footed people. The restaurant was tasty, but our highlight was the bakery above the restaurant. After our hike, there were incredibly delicious sweet and savory buchti and coffee.
We stayed here for one night on the meadow behind the bushes. The road was really quiet. At first glance, the spot is nothing special, but the hiking trail through the riverbed and the restaurant make it five-star.
It was raining heavily, so we didn't dare park on the grass. We therefore had trouble finding a level spot. The night was quiet.
Super place for overnight. We spent just one night. Near restaurant is very good. Main road quiet during the night.
Highly recommended. The spot is right by the road, but after 10 p.m. it is completely silent, with no cars or other noise. The restaurant is absolutely worth recommending, with good local cuisine. The hotel behind it offers day wellness and a sauna. It is only as crowded as in the photos during the day; many hikes start here. At night, it is great for stargazing.
