Quiet orchard pitch, road quiet

Thank you very much for the lovely pitch. We were warmly welcomed and hosted by Frank, the owner. The food—proper homemade cooking prepared from scratch—was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. You arrive here and immediately feel at home. The adjoining Kanonenbahn cycle path is a highlight for cyclists and railbike riders.

We spent another wonderful weekend with Frank. From the well-maintained pitch and the supply of cold drinks to the delicious homemade food and evening entertainment with pleasant conversations, everything was top-notch again. We will certainly be back...

A beautiful, freshly mowed green meadow, with draught beer and several TVs showing music videos. The operator is very nice and takes care of his guests. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

So this place is quite ok. Frank is a special character. He REALLY wanted us to drink beer with him and the feeling was he was offering the for free. In the end he’s just a very pushy salesman :)great talking to him and hear about the place his history etc. Also he’s very happy about his soundsystem and played loud Italo disco. Price was decent and place was comfortable and clean.

Despite the nearby road, the place is quiet and relaxing. Frank, the operator, is a very kind-hearted person. Remember to bring an adapter for the electricity. The meter has a German socket, not the blue three-pin socket. There is, however, a red three-pin socket. Outdoor tables with an outdoor bar and the possibility of eating local dishes. Recommended for short stays for any camper. No cards accepted.

I had a lovely evening there. Freshly tapped beer and homemade food. What more could you want? Very quiet at night. I would gladly come back.

A truly idyllic and wonderfully well-maintained site. Frank, the operator, is a lovable and exceptionally courteous character. You immediately feel at home. Draught beer and good Eichsfeld cuisine make this a hidden gem for campers who want to chill without fuss.

Very nice operator... large site, unfortunately no water or waste services... the road is somewhat noisy... great for cycling.

Super-friendly host. You can sit comfortably in the lovingly landscaped beer garden or, in bad weather, in the rustic dining room. The food is still prepared here from scratch and was absolutely delicious. The conversations with Frank were very pleasant and interesting. I will definitely come back here sometime.
