Quiet grass site, services across road

Beautiful, spacious, quiet overnight spot in a field by the shooting club. At the swimming pool opposite, you can do everything—dump waste, clean the toilet, and fill up with water—for €1. After 6 p.m., the owner comes to collect €3 from everyone and even gives you a booklet about the area. You can walk straight into the forest!

A beautiful spot; thanks to the shooting club. We have been here several times. It is incredibly quiet here. Unfortunately, the town of Hermansburg has not managed to repair the service station at the swimming pool, which is a shame. Tip: eat well and cheaply at Heidjer Grill.

Beautiful, quiet motorhome spot. Everyone is very friendly. Water and waste services work without problems. Supermarket, bakery, and excellent restaurants are just around the corner. One star deducted because network coverage is sparse, maximum 4G.

Beautiful, level pitch on a large meadow. Shopping facilities are nearby. There is a service and disposal station at the swimming pool across the road. I was almost alone here during the week. In the early evening, a very nice woman came to collect the fee.

Beautiful motorhome spot in the forest. Even during our summer visit there was plenty of space and few motorhomes. At night you can hear noises from the swimming pool, such as ventilation, but it did not bother us.

Large meadow, quiet, no services. Good place when passing through.

Beautiful large site, well maintained and freshly mowed. Nevertheless, at 8 a.m. the next morning an ambitious lawn-mower tractor driver had to circle around our van. Chemical toilet disposal was not possible. The machine across the road at the swimming pool was broken.

Beautiful large grassy area. Disposal is across the road, although on March 21, 2025 it was partly marked “Out of service.” €3 is collected in the late afternoon. A wonderful quiet place; today there were only two motorhomes staying overnight.

Perfectly adequate for overnight stays and parking. The indoor swimming pool is directly opposite. Supermarkets and hardware stores are within walking distance. Excellent for exploring the town and cycling. The site is a large meadow in a clearing in a small wooded area.

Really quiet and very beautiful in wonderful surroundings. The e-bike charging station at the town hall makes this the best service in this lovely town, whose tourist information staff are very friendly.

A wonderful forest-and-meadow site, quiet, with the indoor swimming pool opposite—an added highlight. We felt very comfortable, with friendly neighbors and a starting point for several hikes. Restaurants, bakery, and supermarket nearby. The only drawback is that waste disposal is unfortunately not possible.

A very beautiful large motorhome site where you can really camp. However, you must be self-sufficient. The site belongs to the shooting club and gets busier on weekends. We stayed one night and slept well. Opposite is the outdoor swimming pool, where you could shower.
