The Duck On The Pond

Arrived at 10 p.m. and was welcomed. Trees, plants, a garden, and a lovely old pub. Charming, very helpful hosts. Recommended.

Had a great stay food delicious and Different. Try thr Beer and Cheddar soup and Hay crumble! Amazing. Good size car park and great walks for the Rosie our Cocker Spaniel.

Awesome stopover, with a really quiet night. Lovely staff too.

Pub was very warm and friendly, it had a lovely atmosphere. Quiet area. The landlady was fantastic. They didn't mind us parking up and using facilities whilst the pub was open. Ground was level. Will definitely go back.

A very nice typical English country pub. Friendly staff, good carpark for overnight campervan stay. Everything lovingly cared for. I will definitely come back again, especially also to eat here (too late this time). Menu looks very tasty. I can definitely recommend this place

Very pleasant spot: the pub’s car park kindly allows overnight stays without any problem. I only had a drink at the pub, which was both welcoming and classy, with very friendly employees. A little noise because the road is next to it, but nothing excessive. Beautiful setting!

A very warm welcome. Slightly sloping pitch. Excellent restaurant, with prices to match. We recommend it.

One of our best stops yet. Lovely pub with lovely staff. We were able to park in the corner of the car park and it was very quiet. Lucky enough to have Sunday lunch and it was one of the best we've had for a long time. Noting where the ingredients had been sourced from on the menu was a nice touch.

Fantastic stop over. Parked right next to the seating area and the food was first class. We have kids and with the van so close we were able to have a beer in the beer garden once putting the kids to bed. Car park is level enough for a good nights sleep
