Unnamed Road, 04530, Larche
Been here?
A departure parking area for the Lauzanier valley at the gates of Mercantour National Park, with a creek nearby and hiking routes in the surroundings. Access for vans is possible by a very narrow road, but summer shuttles pass about every 30 minutes and vehicles may need to follow them. A recent van arrived around 6:30, and overnight stays were said to be allowed.

Magnificent; marmots as neighbours. I went up around 6:30 a.m. with my van; overnight stays are allowed according to the person I spoke with, someone from the site. Beautiful hikes in the surrounding area.
The valley is very beautiful, but campers cannot drive up.
Access road prohibited to motorhomes by municipal decree.
Wonderful, truly magnificent place. I was moved on by the wardens; you cannot sleep in the parking area at the start of the hike. The road is very narrow, so motorhomes should forget it. Otherwise, the hike was enjoyable.
Very pleasant. We spent a quiet night without any problems.
