This is a quiet car park beside walking trails, but it is now daytime parking only, with a no overnight camping sign and parking charges. The area is generally flat and surrounded by good walks, with occasional plane flights and some road noise. Phone reception is limited but usable on O2.

No overnight camping sign has appeared. Another one of my favourite spots gone.
No overnight parking and no longer free. Same for the other parking spots around here.
Nice flat area to stay next to a walking trail. Limited phone reception but usable (o2). Pretty quiet in the evening other than the occasional plane flying iver and a little road noise. Nice place! Off for a walk now… :)
Stay here regularly and there is usually at least 2 other vans on occasion have seen 7. Quite place, flat ground and good signal. No wind here at all due to natural surroundings.
Nice and quiet. We were the only vehicle in this car park till around 8.30am. There is a bin. 4g reception unlike the main car park a bit further up east chevin road. Hardly any road noise. Surrounded by good walks. Felt safe
Good parking spaces, lots of room for a large motorhome. Felt unsafe: groups of kids were drinking and racing up and down the car park until 4 a.m. I would feel better if there were more motorhomes.
Spacious place with trails nearby. Slightly noisy because of its proximity to the road.
Stayed here on first night away with motorhome, wild camp a few miles from home, level car park with no restrictions. No other vans here when we stayed and despite a couple of cars coming and going late on and a bit of noise from the road up to 11pm it was a peaceful night
