A peaceful overnight stop on the Cateran Trail, with fairly level pitches in a field and hard-standing spaces near the hotel. The hotel provides toilet access 24/7, and overnight parking costs £10 payable by QR code in the bar. The bar and restaurant open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am, with food, drinks and occasional live music. The area is well suited to walking in the surrounding countryside.

very peaceful stay. Pitches are in a fairly level field. There is a water connection and they are in the process of commissioning a grey water disposal. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. £10 for overnight stay payable with QR code in the hotel bar. We stayed for a few drinks and the curry and Quiz night. All in all a very pleasant stay. Hotel bar and restaurant dog friendly.
Top-ten spot for parking and relaxing. The food is good, there is often live music, and the hosts are welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful.Translating
Lovely spot. Staff were friendly and food was good. Short walk to an old play park and down to the river, did a bit of paddling. Nice and quiet, lovely stay - thanks Glen Isla!
Perfect little spot. Stayed on a Wednesday which was Pie and Pint night. Friendly staff!
Warm friendly welcome, excellent food and impeccably managed. Flexible parking, easy access to toilets (24/7) and host couldn’t have been more helpful. Fantastic location for exploring the hills. I’ll be back… soon!
Warm welcome from the hotel. We parked the camper for the night in the hotel parking because the field was very wet. Good pub and great food. We had great evening with interesting and nice people. The hotel reception door stay hope to give access to the WC.
What a find. Food is beyond fabulous, beer V well kept, field is v close , and free to stay on if you eat and have a pint with them, and why wouldn't you? The staff are great, friendly and helpful. Hats off to Sally such fun and energy . we will come here again. thanks Graham n Jules x
We continued on our way because we wanted to eat at the restaurant, but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Otherwise, the site is good, the road has little traffic, and the toilets are accessible seven days a week.Translating
I couldn't have imagined it being as great, as it has been. Amazing atmosphere and a lovely surrounding, quiet place to stay, use of toilets even during the night and very friendly and welcoming staff in the hotel and the restaurant. I was very lucky, not only because I had the chance to listen to B's guitarmusic, when I arrived...
Lovely owners, very friendly. Nice large grassy field. Good food in the restaurant and pub.Translating
Great spot. Quiet and flat. The hotel owners are friendly and accommodating. They allow use of the bathroom throughout the night. The food is great, the bar is excellent, and the place is very dog-friendly. We will certainly stay again.Translating
