A secluded, flat hikers’ parking lot in the forest near the power plant, suitable for an overnight stop. The power plant is usually out of operation and serves as a system-relevant reserve when wind and/or sun are weak. It is a starting point for mountain-bike tours toward Höcherberg, 518m above sea level, and evening walks. The place is beautiful and very calm; three cars passed in the morning.

The best night of our stay in Germany. It is pretty, very quiet, and flat. We saw three cars pass in the morning. Nothing else to report.
