Been here?
Free motorhome area by the canal with water, WC, and waste disposal. Parking is free; water and electricity are paid. Grey water disposal works reliably, though recent reports indicate other services may have issues. An ALDI supermarket nearby has noisy early-morning deliveries; position away from the entrance if possible. Peaceful spot with cycling access along the canal.

Very nice for a stopover!
Perfect grey-water disposal. The rest seems to be out of order. Work is going to be carried out. Lovely place for a picnic.
We stayed a night here although there was no drinking water available. We cycled a fabulous 15 miles canalside to Froncles where we found the most amazing boulangerie/coffee shop and were given free patisseries and the host iced and refilled our water bottles! We had the most amazing experience on our 15 mile cycle back where we watched numerous Coypu swimming and basking in the sunshine ! Fab!!
Only for a meal stop.
Quiet place on the Marne. Birdsong and traffic noise. Next to a large grassy area. Three picnic tables and four benches by the water. Village within walking distance. Also an excellent place to spend the night.
The parks around the borne are full due to people using EHU. If you want a bit more space (when not really busy), go further down towards the old (and now out of use) waste area (brick). Very peaceful here and lovely to sit in the park. Free black and grey waste disposal.
No black waste disposal, full / blocked. A concrete block covering the lid. Did not require other facilities. Very convenient just off our route. Had a good quiet night, 5 other MH overnight too. Thanks
Hello. Just a small correction: electricity is chargeable, and drinking water is too. The place is free for parking and for emptying grey and black water; you can rinse the toilet cassette because the water is free (non-potable). Otherwise, a very good spot. Today it is full. Thanks to the municipality.
Amazing spot. Free electricity, possibility to empty gray water and toilet. 50 meter to a well stocked Lidl and plenty of nice walks in the area. The town is cute. Felt very safe.
Attention: ALDI has just opened next door. The semi-trailer delivery, 25 metres away, takes place at 4 a.m., and the pallet-handling system is very noisy. It is best to park as far away as possible. Otherwise, the town and the banks of the Marne are pleasant.
Very pleasant and attractive motorhome area, with all services fully operational: grey-water disposal, drinking water, cassette disposal, and electricity. Beautiful parking spaces, and free of charge. I sincerely thank the municipality for making this lovely motorhome area available to us, in addition to its peaceful, green setting by the water. Superb, and the town centre is also very pleasant. I will come back.
Nice quiet little aire. The larger borne was not not operational but we were able to dispose of black waste using our waste water to rinse. The smaller borne had several campers connected to it for the EHU and it also had a water point but we didn’t try that. Brand new Lidl just next door.
I did not want to spend a night here at all. Construction area and two motorhomes that apparently do not move much. We spent the night elsewhere.
Free disposal, but services are chargeable. However, it is inaccessible because others remain parked on it. Shame to see such behaviour.
Thanks to the municipality. What a shame that some people hog the free electricity!
Thanks to the municipality, a superb place with all amenities. Supermarket and construction right next door.
Very nice spot by the canal. The town can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The parking area is free!
Nice motorhome area with all facilities, some free and some paid, near a charming old town and supermarkets within walking distance.
It's a popular place in September 2025. Despite the comments about noise it's quite a nice place and a lovely old town. There's a Super U and a Lidl in walking distance.
Very narrow, paved site. Although nicely located by the canal and equipped with picnic tables, it is unfortunately not in a pleasant setting. At present you can dispose of waste, but unfortunately cannot refill fresh water, and there is a large construction site next door with a lot of noise, hence only three stars. We drove on.
Thank you to the municipality for this superb spot. Thanks to it, we support the local businesses—a smart reciprocal arrangement.
Quiet place, ideal for a walk into town and along the canal. The pitch is a little narrow and a little short for an 8-metre vehicle, but very good for one night. Thanks to the municipality.
Thanks to the town hall for this gift. Ten metres from the canal, ideal for spending a night as a stopover. There is a bakery, butcher, Lidl, etc. 500 metres away, as well as restaurants.
Only four electrical sockets, occupied by two motorhomes. They would not let me use a multi-socket adapter, so we left to avoid making an issue of it. Shame—beautiful village.
Superb aire along the river. We were there on Friday during a storm and rain. Thanks to the municipality.
Very pretty place, with shops and restaurants 500 metres away.
We had a peaceful night here. It was hot during the day so the shaded grassy area along the canal was very welcome. Throw in a supermarket that’s within walking distance and it’s a spot worth visiting
Perfect, a waterside stopover, with a supermarket just a few steps away, a picnic area, and a functioning service point. Easy access.
Noisy construction work. Usual access prohibited. You can come from the other side of the street.
Quiet aire next to a picnic area, close to the marina and the charming town centre of Jonville. Thanks to the municipality.
Suitable for motorhomes up to 6 metres; longer vehicles have to extend onto the grass. The spaces are very narrow, and manoeuvring is impossible if motorhomes are parked side by side. The bins and bottle containers are also on the aire, which causes noise. Otherwise, the location seemed calm and pleasant, beside the water. We did not stay.
Lunch break. Thanks for this place, just steps from the town centre on the banks of the Marne.
Beautiful, peaceful place for a stopover!
Great spot with free power and water. Nice chateau and gardens nearby.
