Been here?
A small, welcoming campsite beside Taverna Faros on the outskirts of Arkoudi, with excellent food and sea views. Toilets, a basic hot-water outdoor shower, electricity, Wi-Fi, washing machine and refrigerator are available. Overnight parking is free when dining at the taverna. The site is narrow for vehicles around 7,5 meters and is mainly suitable for small campers; the beach is about 5 minutes away on foot.

Great place, thank you for this beautiful location and the warm welcome! It is a little narrow for motorhomes 7.5 meters long, but where there is a will, there is a way!Translating
Great place with nice people; we liked it very much. Unfortunately, only one night. Thanks, Harry.Translating
Small and very welcoming stopover area. Excellent little restaurant with a magnificent view! Good facilities. Wonderful beach five minutes’ walk away.Translating
Very kind welcome. Stunning panorama with amazing sunsets. Free overnight parking if you eat here. Excellent food at a fair price. Thank you!!!!Translating
Hello, very nice place. The Austrians who run it are very nice, but Dieter is really not needed; he only causes trouble, and you can clearly notice that it is disruptive on the site. Nevertheless, a very beautiful place.Translating
An oasis in the world of campsites! We only wanted to stay one or two nights, but it became six. Very friendly and helpful female operator, clean toilets and a perfect hot-water outdoor shower. Next door at the taverna there is very good fresh food, with a very likeable owner and his daughters!Translating
Beautiful pitches at Taverna Faros! FREE PARKING when visiting TAVERNA FAROS on Park4night! In summer, people meet on the terrace with a sea view or in Taverna Faros. Jorgos, the cook and owner, speaks German, English and Italian.Translating
Only suitable for small campers. You can enter only against the no-entry sign. To leave, you first have to drive against the no-entry sign, turn around and come back. The camper area is used as a roundabout by local traffic.Translating
Beautiful bay with a small, charming village and sandy beach that slopes very gently into the water. Ideal for small children. The pitch has a wonderful location and very friendly, helpful hosts. The taverna’s food tastes excellent. We intended to stay one night but stayed three because it was so lovely. Grey-water disposal is only possible with a bucket.Translating
This place gets 5/5 stars from us :)). We originally intended to stay for one day, but it became 3 weeks. Renate and Harry are such warm-hearted people; they welcomed us like their own children, and you feel at home with them. Shower, toilets, sea view—everything is perfect. We love this place and will definitely return.

Amazing place with incredible views, 10 euros with good toilets, outside hot shower and near to beach, shops and restaurants. Beautiful tavern and nice people. 4 stars because there is no drinking water.Translating
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed here for two nights with our dog and children and were delighted. €10 per night for water, very clean toilets, soap and hot showers is excellent. The operator is extremely friendly and helpful. The absolute highlight is the taverna next door: fantastic Greek food, steak freshly grilled over charcoal and homemade fries from fresh potatoes. Definitely try it!Translating
We stayed there for 10 days; very beautiful pitches with a great view of the bay. Very dog-friendly. Our dog had eaten something and was unwell, so Harry drove us to the vet. Everyone is very helpful; we would gladly return when we are nearby.Translating
A very good night in the Taverna Faros parking area before taking the ferry to Kyllini. The outdoor shower with hot water is a great experience. The sea view from the taverna terrace is unbeatable. We ate very well, although the bill was rather high for Greece (€39 for two without drinks), plus €10 for the night without electricity.Translating
We arrived unannounced with a Phoenix measuring 7.80 m long and 3.50 m high. Harry, the operator, moved his car especially so we could find a place. One day was planned; it became four. Renate, who runs the site, listens to everyone and helps wherever she can. Thanks also to the fellow campers for a wonderful sense of community. Best wishes, Gunther and JuttaTranslating
At this site for the umpteenth time. The view and the care provided by the two Austrians are absolutely lovely and informative. Everyone gets what they want here—people seeking peace as well as those who enjoy socializing. Dog owners are welcome too.Translating
Extremely nice site operators. We had three relaxing days; if I could, I would give ten stars. Highly recommended.Translating
Very warm welcome. Very nice pitches. It has everything you need: toilets and an outdoor shower. Excellent food in the taverna. At our request, Georg cooked vegetarian food especially for us.Translating
We stopped here in the afternoon; the owners of the taverna were very friendly and courteous! We had the best fresh calamari, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was also excellent! All in all, highly recommended! As campers, you can park and spend the night directly at the restaurant for €10, including a sea view and clean toilets. Highly recommended!Translating
A little disappointed: grey-water disposal is done with a bucket in the shower, so there is no proper dump point; black-water disposal is through a hatch located on the taverna terrace, which is inconvenient. At the moment, it is impossible to fill up with water because of construction work, so the owner kindly charged us only €10 for the pitch with electricity. The taverna is good, but we have eaten better and more cheaply elsewhere.Translating
Great. Super nice people there, both the site operators and the taverna owner. You feel completely well looked after and would happily come back.
Has everything you need. Shower, washing machine, EHU, clean WCs and good WiFi, all at a reasonable cost. Very welcoming host and the food cooked by George was excellent. Stayed 06/01/2026. Slept well. Will definitely use again.
Very beautiful place, close to the beach. The owners are extremely kind. Their dog is very funny. We were also able to eat in the taverna even though we were the only ones there. It was delicious.
We happened to walk past here and did not stay overnight. After a pleasant conversation with the site owner and taverna owner, it is clear to us that we will come here next time. It has everything a basic camper needs!
Georgios, the taverna owner, is extremely helpful and cooks excellently. The same applies to Harry and Renate, who run the parking area :) Great view, electricity, shower and toilet facilities. Pleasant village. We were there in mid-January.
A very nice pitch with exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. We felt welcome and would gladly return.
Perhaps a language problem, but I did not find them welcoming. The vans were far too close together; 3 m is the minimum recommended, while their site allowed barely 1 m. I ate at the taverna and had a very bad stomach. I asked about recycling and was told, “This is Greece, we don’t recycle.” The recycling bins are at the edge of the town. When I left, I did not hear “Good journey.” The view is superb!
The pitch and taverna are open continuously throughout winter 2025/26. The road through the village is quite narrow, but it was manageable with a 7.5-ton vehicle and 6.5 m length. Pitch for one night: €10. 13 kg washing machine: €5. Dinner with a starter for two people: €37.

Beautiful view, pleasant operators, not Greeks but Austrians.
Lovely, quiet place open all winter. The owner is very friendly and can prepare food for you. We were happy to have a place to take a break, wash and dry all our things after all the rain.
We stayed here for two days! It was just as everyone described previously. The host is an especially nice and helpful person; there is a limited selection of food in winter. It consists of delicious Greek home cooking, such as stew! This suited us well, since we can get gyros in Germany too. We would gladly return! Thank you very much!!!
It was really beautiful and delicious! Lots of pitches, friendly personal contact, and everything was just right. Gladly again!
Lovely place, and we ate very well too. Giorgio is a good cook and wants to make his guests as happy as possible. Perfect WiFi.
Very nice place. Well priced with hot food, optional, every evening. We used it for a week-long vacation and storm shelter after traveling too much too quickly. George is a wonderful person! Everyone feels welcome there :)
Wonderful place perched above the sea! Giorgio speaks many languages, including Italian; he is a delightful, very friendly and helpful person! His cooking is also recommended!
We had a very pleasant, relaxing time at this site and spontaneously stayed one night longer than planned. We had one of the two pitches with a sea view. We could do laundry and eat at the taverna in the evening. The owner is extremely attentive and helpful and cooks for his guests every evening. Currently, the supermarkets in the village are closed.
Through a chance encounter I met the owner of the taverna; he told me that he also had pitches. The next day we drove there. It was wonderful, and he cooked for us—very tasty and authentic. We will return.
We felt absolutely welcome and very comfortable, and stayed a second night contrary to our plan. In the off-season there is no menu, but interesting, very tasty and reasonably priced Greek home cooking. The operators are incredibly nice and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and adequate for a pitch, especially at the low price. Excellent view. Highlight of our tour; gladly again. Thank you for everything.
Pretty, very quiet place. We urgently needed a washing machine, and it was no problem. In late autumn, the food selection was not entirely to our taste, but Jorgos was very friendly and made a real effort. Despite the rain, we felt comfortable.
Very good for a quiet break. It is easy to turn around. No services. No rubbish bin.
