Been here?
A paid motorhome area with 8 marked gravel bays beside a scenic lake, allowing stays of up to 48h. The two western parking lots have 2.1 m height barriers, while the eastern area behind the aquatics building has no height restriction. The lake is about 5 metres away, shops and cafés are a 5–10 minute walk, and nearby routes lead towards Snowdon. Toilets, bins and waste facilities are available, but factory noise can be severe and cars sometimes occupy motorhome bays.

Eight spaces reserved for motorhomes for a maximum of 48 hours. Directly by the lake and perfect for climbing Snowdon. There are also many campers parked in regular parking spaces and along the roadside. Beautiful lake for swimming, SUP or kayaking. These can also be rented nearby. The toilet closes in the evening.Translating
Initially quite confusing because the parking spaces directly next to the motorhome bays have signs prohibiting overnight parking. This is probably mainly so motorhomes have enough space. Since access to the lake is 5 meters away, the spaces naturally empty quite late in the evening. Cars park there during the day.Translating
A great motorhome site! The noise from the factory is tolerable. You can reach the village and the railway to Mount Snowdon within a few minutes.Translating
I've slept in quieter lay-by's on A roads, horrendous banging and noise all night long from the factory over the road. £16.50 and i'm not stopping, not even worth it for free!
cars parked in motorhome pitches, no one giving cars tickets. every motorhome pitch had a car in it. council should make more significant signs for cars not to park here
Beware! Extremely packed at weekends !
Very nice. Good size spaces. Great view. Peaceful too.
Very good for spending one or two nights. (Be aware, there must be a factory directly opposite that operates even at night... so there is some noise!). Hiking trails start nearby. You can take the S2 bus directly to the start of the Pyg Track, barely ten minutes' walk away, and swim in the lake on your return!Translating
All motorhome spaces were occupied, with no information on whether we could use the car spaces. The company opposite ran a stamping machine all night. People with birch-pollen allergies should avoid the place in April.Translating
Excellent location at scenic lake, 5/10 min walk to shops/cafes. Lots walking routes, home to Snowdon railway, canoe/paddle board hire up road. Spacious marked bays, paid £33 for 48hr max stay at machine. Dump/Fresh water £3 next to clean public loos. 8 motorhome bays in this Council run mixed parking. No camping behavior. Strange banging from small factory opposite in night but a fab type Aire!
Our fave spot to stay! Toilet and bin facilities, clean, safe carpark with beautiful views of mountains and lakes at a very reasonable price. Nice walk into the town. There is always a friendly welcome from the ducks too!
Stayed here for two nights. Quiet stay (apart from the 50mph wind on the second night). Just wish it was more central as it adds a mile each way for walking the surrounding mountains.
Ok a little way out of town . Water does not work so we lost our money . Nice views and toilets in daytime very clean. Good for water sports including swimming but on wrong side of lake for sauna .just parking no electric.
Very good park up, able to empty black waste and fill up water, We had a very peaceful night sleep
Really good facility right next to the lake and within easy walking distance to the town. Toilets were clean and the site seemed quiet and safe.
Stayed here last night, very quiet, £16.50 for 24hrs is great value if you’re planning to head up Snowdon, plus toilets, elsan and water point. Lots of people swimming in the lake in the morning (if that’s your thing). Beautiful location right by the lake.
Excellent site, also suitable for a rest day.Translating
Perfect park up!!! £16.50 24 hours. Lovely spot for a cold water dip to wake up in the mornings.
This is a great facility on the outskirts of Llanberis and very handy for hiking and paddleboarding/swimming. Don’t be put off by “no overnight camping” - bay 2 has 8 motorhome bays where you can pay £16.50 to stay for 24hrs. It was really quiet at night and there is also a tap for water and bins (with recycling). The public toilets are open during the daytime I think and then locked at night.
Great place, everything is there except electricity. Excellent location directly by the lake... slept peacefully at night, went for a swim first thing in the morning... fantastic!Translating
Relatively level gravel parking area with the possibility of emptying gray water and refilling with fresh water. It is well located at the foot of the lake. However, a factory is right next to it and operates 24/7.Translating
