Very friendly operators with a different vision for their camping area from what is considered standard, which they explain well on their website. We spent one night there and had a very good experience. Greetings to Gaetano and his partner, and best of luck for your future.Translating
On the mountain, about 100 meters above Letojanni, with a rather steep road and a great view of Taormina. Everything is available and lovingly designed, including the composting toilet. Great area for mountain biking. At €30 per night, it is rather expensive compared with other places, hence one star deducted.Translating
This place is special. The view across the bay directly toward Taormina is wonderful, and you are right among the old cultivated hillside terraces, where there is always a shady spot under an olive tree and where Tano is building a small, sustainable eco-project. Tano and Johanna are very friendly and absolutely helpful.Translating
Welcome, cleanliness, everything was impeccable. Access suitable for small vehicles.Translating
A truly beautiful place. Warm shower, even using gas, not just solar. Everything clean and tidy. Great view across the bay. The approach is quite steep but well paved.Translating
Tano and Johanne are exceptionally nice people. The spot up here is a dream. Shower and toilet exactly as described, everything spotlessly clean. We would have loved to take the dog Melo home, and the kittens are very cute too. We enjoyed it and spent two lovely evenings with the wonderful Johanna. Communication with both was completely effortless.Translating
The scenery at this campsite is absolutely stunning, very open, with unbeatable sea views. The facilities are basic but practical; the toilet cannot be flushed, and it can be quite windy if you are camping in a tent. Everything else was perfect, especially the very warm and friendly couple who run it. Thank you!Translating
It is just as everyone says: simply wonderful! The access road really is narrow and steep, and geometrically impossible with motorhomes over 7 meters. But then the lively, friendly dog Mello comes to greet you, and his joyful barking tells Tano that new guests have arrived. Tano is a genuinely warm host who speaks very good German. He can cook too. We would love to come back!Translating
Very beautiful place nestled in the hills above Letojanni. The slope to get there is quite steep by bicycle, but it is worth it! Tano gave me a very warm welcome. The place has all the facilities needed when traveling: tent pitches and sanitary facilities. I highly recommend it, so come and support Tano’s wonderful project!Translating
A beautiful site with a magnificent view. Registration by phone was easy. Gaetano speaks very good German. There was an option to have dinner with wine. Pitch €20 per night. No problem with a camper van; larger motorhomes probably will not fit. Behind the campsite, an off-road track leads to magnificent views of Mount Etna. Thank you!Translating
Wow, simply fantastic! Beautiful, well-maintained site. Absolutely recommended! We stayed two nights. Grazie, Gaetano.Translating
Great place with a wonderful view, perfect for us touring cyclists with a tent, even with a small table and chairs. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain, but Tano was extremely helpful, brought us fresh croissants, and took us to Letojanni to shop. We are very grateful, including for the conversations! The hot shower in that terrible weather was also excellent, and the dog was wonderful too.Translating
When people with a vision get to work, something very special can emerge. Tano has started building it—not only for himself, but also for you. If you want an experience that challenges your usual habits, you will take something enormously enriching away from this place. Incidentally, five kilometers away there is a five-star hotel. A night there costs €800, and the view is not as beautiful!Translating
Tano is a wonderful person who has created a welcoming space for those that visit. the eco project overlooks the sea and Melo ( the dog) will welcome you at the door. My favourite place in Sicilia! will come back every year ♥️Translating
My second time here, again for two weeks. Tano has become a friend during this time. The composting toilet is always clean and the shower pleasantly warm. A beautiful place to stay with a great view of the sea; Letojanni is easily reachable on foot.Translating
I did pay 15 euro a night without electricity, there was no information about the cost. But I had a nice stay, meet kind people and did explore the neighbourhood by bike. The road is very steep with sharp turns be aware of that. <3 Translating
Great place with a friendly operator! There is a hot shower, drinking water, and a composting toilet. Everything is clean. By train, you can reach both Catania and Messina in about an hour.Translating
Thank you for this beautiful place, Tano! We had a wonderful time with you. We would gladly return anytime!Translating
Simple site with a wonderful operator who traveled for years himself. I have never found it so difficult to leave a place. The sanitary facilities are basic, but everything is there. The operator helps with problems in every way. We have now been traveling for five months continuously and have had a camper for decades. This place is among our top five. The approach is not easy, but worthwhile!Translating
Nice, helpful host, but the approach is really, really steep. If possible, use Via Ciriolo instead. I gave up after the second attempt.Translating
