Stegener Marktplatz, 39031, Brunico
Been here?
This is a large gravel parking area for motorhomes and buses, about 5-10 minutes on foot from Brunico’s center. It has space for about 50-60 vehicles but no services beyond a container. Parking costs 1,50€/h, paid by meter or app. Recent visitors reported significant road noise, making it more suitable for a short city visit than relaxing.

Parking spacious enough to take a walk around the city. €1.50 per hour for a 7-metre motorhome. We did not stay overnight.Translating
Very spacious parking area. I did not book, but used it to visit Brunico. It is paid parking.Translating
An exorbitant and completely unjustified cost. It is also discriminatory compared with other vehicle categories, such as cars and coaches, which pay a small fraction of what is charged to motorhomes. In the past I used these spaces many times, then went shopping and ate at restaurants in town. I will spend my money elsewhere and encourage everyone to do the same!Translating
June 2026: Parking areas unsuitable for motorhomes! Each hour costs €1.50, which amounts to €36 for 24 hours! There is no daytime or nighttime rate. It is a huge SCAM! Cars pay €5 per day, while buses pay €10 per day. I do not recommend it. You can park 10 minutes away. We found a sign at the Piste Brunico parking area saying, “For now, no payment is required.”Translating
Far too expensive for just a parking area with no services. Convenient for stopping for a few hours and visiting the city.Translating
Central, directly beside the railway station, but very noisy because of the road. The price is €1.50 per hour at the machine, 24 hours a day. It is only a parking lot! You can reach the city either through the station tunnel or directly along the river.Translating
Perfect area for parking and visiting the beautiful city. We spent the night without any problems. The area is huge, so arriving at night is no problem. Payment is made hourly at a machine. A little further on there is a motorhome area if you prefer that. Many thanks for allowing us four-wheel adventurers to live as nomads. Recommended by some people from Seville.Translating
Large and convenient parking area for the city centre, but without services and excessively expensive at €1.50 per hour. Madness! We stayed only because we were tired after the long journey; otherwise we would have looked elsewhere. Not recommended except in an emergency or for sleeping a few hours during a long trip.Translating
Very large parking lot with plenty of room, close to town. €1.50/h to park overnight seems fine compared to anywhere else in the area. Why you would want to park there for longer than that is puzzling - it’s not exactly a nice spot for hanging around all day. Also, there seemed to be a lot of strange cars coming and going late at night. Seemed a bit like a dogging spot on the side not street lit
We arrived and see the price so we continued driving to the next town to spend money on a restaurant and shopping in the morning.
2022: great place for a reasonable price 2023: great place for a reasonable price 2025: I will never come to Brunico because of its greed.
Municipality of Brunico: shameless greed!!!Translating
Price increase from €3 per day in 2021 to €36 per day in 2025. The parking fees are completely inappropriate for this dirty, unprotected parking lot without any services. They probably want to force visitors to go to City Camp. I wonder what the municipality was thinking. ????Translating
Great for visiting the city; it is best to go through the underpass in the railway station, then walk for about seven minutes. Also suitable for large motorhomes. It would not be my first choice for overnight stays.Translating
From €7.50 to €36, like a motorhome area. Do not go to Brunico anymore, and do not leave any money in the city; continue straight on to other places.Translating
Goodbye Brunico! €36/24 hours? Prices completely beyond reason. You do not want me? I can easily spend my euros elsewhere.Translating
Strange that there are people willing to pay €36 for an ugly parking lot. We quickly moved on.Translating
Unfortunately, I can only confirm what the many travellers before me have said: €36 for no services, just parking, is madness. It is true that there is now a campsite nearby, but apart from costing less, it is small and therefore always full. A shame for the city, but I think they do not care.Translating
They are completely out of their minds! They think we are chickens to pluck. Goodbye Brunico; I am only sorry about the shops and restaurants.Translating
It used to cost, I think, €8.50 per week, then it became €7.50 per day, and now, after the nearby motorhome area opened, it costs the same: €36 per day. NO ONE SHOULD GO TO BRUNICO ANYMORE, and no one should spend even €1 in the city. Go elsewhere.Translating
Ideal parking spot for a short visit to the city. Too expensive for a longer stay or overnight!Translating
Now €36 per day without any services—shameful, I would say. About 100 metres away there is a new motorhome area for €35, including toilets, showers, electricity and filling/dumping facilities, but unfortunately with only 60 spaces.Translating
The 24-hour ticket costs €36 without any services, and the rubbish bins are completely overflowing. At 8 a.m. the municipal employee comes and issues parking tickets. The €8 shown above is completely outdated. A shame; this is no longer an interesting motorhome stop, except for short-term parking.Translating
