Been here?
This simple campsite beside a restaurant and beer garden mainly serves long-term campers, with paved meadow pitches and electricity for passing travellers. The sanitary facilities are older but clean and functional, and showers cost 0,50€ with a token. A camper and two people recently paid 11€, while registration takes place in the restaurant, which serves well-regarded food. The site is closed from November to early May, and only cash is accepted.

A somewhat dated campsite mainly occupied by long-term campers. Registration is simply at the inn, seemingly right in the kitchen :D The food at the inn is really delicious and, in good weather, it is also pleasant by the lake. There is also a small playground at the inn. We paid €8 for one night including electricity for one person; our four-year-old son was not charged. We will return :)
We stayed here for one night during our holiday trip. Very beautiful, quiet place. The sanitary facilities are no longer new, but they work and are clean. We paid €11 for the camper and two people, which is more than reasonable.
Highly recommended for visiting the area. Campsite with many long-term campers; the sanitary facilities are clean, certainly not new but practical. Aspenmühle offers a delicious selection of standard and local dishes that are filling. We were here on a Friday in April; fortunately, we had reserved. We paid €11 for camping for two people, a dog, and a motorhome.
Stayed here with our rooftop tent for one night - really quiet and calm place if you need a place to rest during driving. You need to “check in” at the restaurant and the owners are super nice and welcoming - only German speaking. They only take cash! Enjoy some beer and some food (couldn’t try because vegan but the food looked really nice!). Sanitary facilities ok, just used toilet. We paid 11€ only for two adults and one dog.
Quiet, simple, and charming. Good food in a cozy beer garden. We would happily camp here again.
Beautiful area. We cannot provide a review, only the information that the site is closed from November until the beginning of May!
Great place. Mainly for long-term campers, but super cheap, friendly, and spotless for one night while passing through. No leveling blocks needed and everything was completely uncomplicated. Very nice. Thank you! Unfortunately, the restaurant is still closed.
Aspenmühle must be a lovely place in summer, but not in a wet October. The sanitary facilities are really clean, a little worn but charmingly seventies-style. Large toilet-paper rolls hang at the entrance. The washrooms were so cold that even a hot €0.50 shower was not tempting. The beer tavern was closed Monday and Tuesday. The site was muddy. But the woman, the wooded mountains, and the murmuring river are all lovely.
Fine campsite for one night while passing through. Low cost: two people and a VW T3 for €10. We ate well in the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are clean, although the shower is cold.
Very quiet site with a top beer garden. Ideal for spending a peaceful night while passing through. Unfortunately, there is no grey-water disposal.
Beautiful place and a great beer garden. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old-fashioned but clean.
Unbeatable value: €6 for one person with a dog in a car. You can choose your own pitch; someone comes by in the evening to collect payment. Sanitary facilities somewhat outdated but clean. Showers €0.50. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
