Camping Cadore

As already mentioned, the site feels somewhat less inviting because of the many long-term campers. The sanitary facilities were clean but clearly quite dated. On the other hand, the campsite is an ideal base for hikes. The staff are very friendly, and despite the nearby road, it is pleasantly quiet at night. However, the price is a little too high for what is offered.

Large, clean bathrooms. Very efficient washing machine and dryer. Fair price for what it offers. Excellent bar for sunset aperitifs with views of the Dolomites. There is also a small shop with great prices. Several walks start from the campsite; the one to Rifugio Città di Fiume is recommended for eating and relaxing after the hike.

One star for the very friendly staff and another star for the views. But 2 stars is all this site deserves. The facilities are old and worn down. Many, many permanent campers which give the whole site a crummy vibe. The pitches for people traveling through are not great - some are just in a permanent camper's driveway. And don't get me started on the prices... €40-63 for 1 night. 63 euro!!!

We had reserved in advance. Unfortunately, we had not read the email properly. You could only check in from 3:30 p.m. We were shown our pitch, and it was literally the last spot by the rear exit. There was a lot of rubbish along the side. We went back to reception and were allowed to stand wherever we wanted. The sanitary facilities were fine and clean. Nothing special. The campsite's location is unique!

This campsite has everything you need! We had a great view of the mountains and made an online reservation that same day, at the end of the day. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old but extremely clean! They also have a nice little bar where you can have breakfast cheaply!

The campsite has everything you need for your campervan and was in a brilliant location with a great view of the mountains. We did a short hike from the campsite to one of the nearby rifugio’s which is a must! Recommend to stay with a Mountain View as you might get woken up by cows if you’re on the other side of the campsite. Nice bar there for cheap drinks and some baked goods in the morning!

Really beautiful campsite!!! Surrounded by nature, very well maintained and clean, impeccable facilities and unlimited piping-hot water. The managers are friendly and efficient. Fast and secure booking and check-in. Comfortable, spacious pitches. Several hikes start here, ranging from easy to challenging and of varying lengths. Suitable for families with children and a paradise for furry friends too. Recommended!

The campsite is quite nice overall, but there are many long-term campers. There are still some nice pitches, though. The showers and toilets were clean for us, but the showers were somewhat unusual because you could not adjust the temperature; they were either hot or cold.

Not the best. Nearly all permanent pitches. The site needs lots of maintenance. Women’s showers were lukewarm and toilets are of the squat type. The electricity kept tripping at 1kw so we unhooked. Wonderful views though.

The campsite is very nice, with mostly static homes and few motorhomes. Unfortunately, it is always in the shade. Friendly staff; we appreciated the mini-market and bar. Free shuttle service takes you to the ski slopes in a few minutes. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Unfortunately, we bought a gas cylinder but could not hand in our empty one because they refused to take it.

Beautiful campsite in the mountains, with many opportunities for hiking and cycling. Very nice staff, clean showers and toilets, and fair prices. In the off-season, we paid €15.20 for two people and a van. There is a small bar on site with tasty food and a good selection of inexpensive drinks. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic location, very friendly service. Several hiking trails start at the camping and many more nearby. We paid €20.5 per night (van with 2 persons and two dogs).

We paid €18 for a VW T5 with two people and a dog, including electricity. We had a fantastic pitch, clean sanitary facilities, and very friendly service. Our power cable unfortunately did not work, but we were able to borrow one free of charge. The reception staff were very friendly. We would gladly come again!

Great campsite. We were centrally located and had good Wi-Fi reception. The showers are dated but good and clean. Beautiful view from the campsite. We stayed here for one night.

Very large campsite with breathtaking views. Very kind and helpful reception staff. At the end of August, less than €40 per night for a van with two people and a dog, including electricity. Spotlessly clean bathrooms. Excellent opportunity to take several hikes starting directly from the campsite. Motorhome service facilities near the entrance, very convenient. Paid laundry with dryer; cash only.

Large, well-maintained campsite. Electricity included at no extra cost, and you can borrow an adapter. We booked online, but there were vacant spots at around 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. Bar with good prices. Laundry costs an additional €8 and drying costs €1 per 10 minutes. Wi-Fi did not reach our pitch.

We arrived one night early and they very kindly changed our reservation. Clean bathrooms and warm water. Most of the campsite is occupied by residents, and the surroundings are fantastic for walking and hiking. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by mountains and forest. We would definitely return. Two adults and a dog in a motorhome: €55.

Excellent campsite for hiking, with beautiful mountain views. Old bathrooms, barely functional. Many pitches, but most are for seasonal campers; the remaining ones are too close together. Small shop, bar, and mountain hut just above. Dogs allowed. Price for two people, one van, one dog, and electricity on a standard pitch: about €40 per night.

The management changed in November 2024. Prices have risen considerably, almost doubling. The facilities have remained the same. Note: they demand payment for the entire stay at check-in!

You can use the showers without staying overnight (€5 per person). At 5 p.m., there was no hot water in the men's showers, while there was in the women's showers. They have squat toilets.

Campsite with a beautiful view of the Dolomites. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. Many year-round residents. The only downside is that we deliberately booked a pitch near the river, but we were 100 meters away with our backs to the sanitary facilities. Too bad, since the price was higher for that area.

They offer showers without accommodation, €5 per person.

The view alone justifies being here. The young staff are extremely helpful, so you can forgive them a few things. The facilities are not modern, but always clean. Surrounded by nature and a mountain that is not overrun with obnoxious children.
