Been here?
A quiet paid motorhome area in a pleasant village beside the Mayenne, opposite the campsite and near small shops and walks. The platform was refurbished in 2025, costing 8 euros per night with emptying and water filling included, plus 5 euros for electricity. Some pitches are uneven and manoeuvring can be difficult for larger motorhomes. The area is open from 1 April to 30 September, and the site can have no mobile signal.

Well, it is not extraordinary either. The location is certainly nice and quiet, but for a paid site, nothing is up to standard. It is fine that I am in a van, but maneuvering with an A-class motorhome would be very difficult. Better to go 10 minutes to Château-Gontier, where there is more space and the site is free.Translating
Despite being pleasant and quiet, we could not stay because there is no mobile network. Note that the bins are not freely accessible.Translating
Motorhome platform, renovated in 2025. The rate is €8 per night, including waste disposal and water filling, plus €5 if you want electricity. Do not contact the Petit Café anymore; since 2024, it has been managed by municipal employees. Open from April 1 to September 30. If you want water and electricity, contact them.Translating
Very friendly welcome, very well-equipped motorhome area, with a view of the Mayenne. Nice little village. We paid €13.40 for the night with electricity and tourist tax.Translating
Excellent motorhome spot, with a view of the Mayenne. You can choose between the campsite and services and sanitary facilities for €12, or the pitch alone for €8. It is a natural campsite area and we loved it. A small shop that sells bread (closed on Wednesdays), in a lovely village. The trees have been pruned…? Thank you for welcoming us so well.Translating
Beautiful place, very pretty village and a very warm welcome. It is a shame that TV reception is poor on most pitches. The towpath is 2 km away by a thankfully little-used road.Translating
Very quiet and relaxing place along the Mayenne. The towpath is 2 km away by road. However, there is no satellite TV reception because of the very tall trees. Very few level pitches suitable for motorhomes. Do not enter the town of Chenille-Champteussé in the GPS; use Chenillé-Changé, otherwise you will end up in rural France 10 km from your destination.Translating
Small campsite in a bucolic, relaxing setting. Clean and functional sanitary facilities. Pitches at the campsite entrance for motorhomes, with electricity-free options also available. Electricity at €4 is a little expensive.Translating
Closed on Wednesdays, we called on Thursday at opening time to reserve a waterside place for fishing, which we had spotted the day before. Everything was fine on the phone; they were expecting us! When we arrived an hour later, the place was taken and the owner threw us out, not at all friendly.Translating
