Been here?
A free parking area opposite a police station, close to Skopje city centre and considered safe by some visitors. It can be very crowded during the day, with cars sometimes blocking vehicles completely, so arriving in the evening is advisable. Evenings and nights are generally quiet, although some road and occasional music noise is possible. The exit under a tree has a maximum height of 2m.

Free parking not far from the town centre. Beware: during the day, locals play Tetris with the cars. It is impossible to get out. On the other hand, it is very quiet in the evening and at night. Plan to arrive in the evening and leave in the evening.
You need a bit of luck to find a parking space; locals recommended this one to us. We stayed overnight and felt safe. It was somewhat noisy at night, though. The statue of Alexander the Great is 10–15 minutes away.
Great, parking by the police station. Close to the centre.
Theft occurs… we were robbed.
Flat ground. We stayed one night and felt safe. You can hear a little road noise, but it did not bother us. Some people came with loud music, but it quieted down around 10 p.m. We were there on a Sunday.
Parking in the centre opposite the police station. We parked in the middle of the lot and, after sightseeing (about 15 minutes to the beautiful centre), discovered that we were blocked in by cars. The only exit was under a tree, with a maximum height of 2 metres. Keep this in mind.
Too crowded. We tried it one day, it was not possible and also next day at 7:30 in the morning it was still impossible to park there. Also there is not much space to move the Van, it is quite narrow
Safe parking lot. It is crowded, so it might be hard to find a space, but we left the van there all day without any problems.
Safe and fairly quiet overnight. Okay for one night to visit Skopje.
Stayed for two days without problems. Very convenient parking close to downtown. Quiet at night. As others mentioned best to park on the edge to not being blocked.
Free parking at a police station. It seems safer because of that than many paid parking areas. Since we have a rooftop tent, we could not use a parking garage because of the vehicle height, so this parking area was a really good alternative for spending a few hours sightseeing in Skopje.
We spent three nights without problems, close to the tourist centre, about 15 minutes away, and free. We were parked in front of the police station; there was some coming and going, but it was not too disturbing. Tip: arrive toward the end of the day to get a space.
Parking area used to visit the city with our 7-metre camper. Walk from the parking area toward the Vardar and within a few minutes you can follow the river into the pleasant city centre.
Excellent place to spend the night in front of the police headquarters, very safe and close to the center, a 10-minute walk away. We spent 4 nights and everything was perfect. Highly recommended, with restaurants very close by. There were several motorhomes ;)
Free parking day and night, safe and well located for visiting Skopje. 20 minutes on foot from the monuments. However, it is noisy.
