Been here?
Huttopia Douarnenez is a quiet, well-maintained campsite on Douarnenez Bay with a heated pool overlooking the water. Staff are friendly and facilities consistently clean, with spacious pitches in a forested setting. The beach is a 10-minute walk away and town centre 3.5km. WiFi is limited to near the pool or reception only. The road access is steep (15% gradient) and narrow streets suit smaller vehicles best.

Very nice place. Clean sanitary facilities. Mobile reception is very weak; Wi-Fi only works within 10 meters of the kiosk.Translating
Excellent reception service. Good value for money. There is a pool. Since we went in June, the bar was closed, which was a shame because it would have been ideal. Wi-Fi only worked next to the pool. Very quiet place. The showers and toilets were immaculate. The electricity points are a little inconveniently located, but the reception staff were extremely friendly and lent us an extension cable.Translating
Very pleasant campsite, well located close to the sea and the town, with impeccable facilities and very friendly, competent staff. Spacious pitches, very clean and functional sanitary facilities, and the best part is the heated pool. Huttopia campsites never disappoint.Translating
Very beautiful, well-maintained campsite outside Douarnenez. It is a challenging 3.5 km walk into town. Nice bar, bread service, very good sanitary facilities, and especially friendly staff. The swimming pool is a real highlight. Mobile reception is borderline, but at least there is Wi-Fi at reception.Translating
Well-located campsite. Very competent and friendly staff. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained. We really enjoyed the Breton dance introduction. Recommended.Translating
A natural haven of greenery in the city, a nature village where life is good. Excellent facilities and welcome. Services meet expectations. A peaceful delight. The only downside is the road leading to the campsite, which climbs at 15%, making you less inclined to go to the very nearby beach or into town unless you have an electric bike.Translating
I can only agree with the previous comments; this really is a beautiful place. However, reaching it in a 7.2-meter-long, 4.5-ton motorhome is quite an adventure because of the narrow, steep roads.Translating
We spent four days at Huttopia campsite. It is very well located, as we were up in the hills above Douarnenez. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. The sanitary facilities are very clean. We will gladly return.Translating
Wonderful site in the forest, very peaceful with excellent facilities. The sanitary area is very clean. The whole team is friendly and courteous. I received lots of information, including about places outside the campsite. The beach is easily reached on foot in 10 minutes. Dogs are welcome. The reception has folders full of leisure suggestions. Highly recommended, and I will definitely return.Translating
A uniquely beautiful place in nature. Anyone looking for relaxation will feel at home here. Very friendly and helpful service. We like the Utopia concept and have had only good experiences at all their sites. We would gladly return next year.Translating
One of the few five-star ratings I’ve given. Superb campsite, incredibly friendly staff, play area, beach volleyball, 28-degree pool, spotless new sanitary facilities, 10 minutes from the beaches, and the start of hiking routes. The village is a 45-minute walk along the coast. Two people with a van and electricity in high season: €39. Breakfast and bread can be reserved.Translating
Very nice campsite with very friendly staff. Barbecues and bicycles can be rented, and the GR34 is right outside. It is 15 minutes to town and the beach, 30 minutes to the marina, and 45 minutes to the town center on foot. We paid €32 for two nights, two people, and one van without electricity. It gets more expensive from July. We would return.Translating
Loved this place. Facilities all good. Beautiful woodland setting. Very friendly staff. About 10 mins walk to the start of Treboul. Didn't try the pool. There is a communal tent with games, a microwave and tea and coffee - very cosy. About 22 E including tax and electric for 2 people and a van. My first 5 star review on this trip. Translating
