L200, 16230, Chorin
Been here?
This is a large, green parking area beside Chorin Monastery, where motorhomes may stay overnight for a fee. The area has plenty of space, bins and direct walking routes to the monastery, lake and surrounding woodland. There are no public toilets or electricity, while toilet access at the monastery is available during opening hours. The nearby road is faintly audible by day, but nights are quiet and dark.

We stopped here to have a look, on our way north. Despite the info, there seemed to be no one taking money, booth was closed up, perhaps off season? A few cars parked but lots of space. Looks like an ideal overnight spot.
24 hours for a motorhome costs €7. Beautiful, huge parking areas. We were alone. Total peace and quiet. Toilets would be great, but they are only available at the monastery during opening hours, even without paying admission if you ask. Everything else has already been said and can only be confirmed. We absolutely did not feel unsafe.
Very good place to stay, also for larger motorhomes. Although we were completely alone, we felt safe. The short walk to the monastery at sunset was wonderful. Thank you very much, Chorin!
Quiet location. Plenty of space between neighbors. The monastery and forest early in the morning, together with the varied birdsong, are simply wonderful for nature lovers. There are plenty of hiking routes nearby. The parking meter only accepts coins. Thank you for this place.
Very nice here; you can walk to the monastery. There are bins, and even in rain or thunderstorms you are safe and stay dry. Parking meter operates from 8 to 8.
We arrived here in the dark. Huge, good parking area, very quiet; we were completely alone. Parking meter starts at 8 a.m. You can visit the monastery on foot from here. The place is actually very nice; it lacks a public toilet and perhaps a power hookup.
The road has little traffic at night. The meter only accepts coins.
We stayed here very peacefully. A very beautiful place.
Quiet place, €7 for 24 hours for a motorhome, no water or waste facilities but waste disposal available; excellent for one night. Thanks to the municipality for this option—we slept very well. Note: there is a separate motorhome button on the parking ticket machines!
Short walk to the monastery, but internet reception is typically German—very poor. There are enough rubbish bins.
A toilet facility would be great. Otherwise everything is fine.

Great for one night. We were alone! Very quiet at night. Free from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
