A small parking lot opposite the Mühlenburg sits on the forest edge. It is quiet at night, while walkers use the area during the day. Rewe, Aldi and Lidl are within walking distance, though Bielefeld and the Teutoburg Forest are somewhat farther away.

It is nice for resting and walking in the surrounding area. Quiet and nobody bothers you. A little off the beaten track—toward Bielefeld—but a good starting point for the somewhat distant Teutoburg Forest.
It is okay. Perfectly adequate for parking and taking a break.
