Been here?
A small, basic campsite about 100 meters from Lake Vänern, with pitches, huts and permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are old-fashioned but clean, with free hot showers, and there is also water supply and disposal. A shop and restaurant are available, while the open layout can leave motorhomes tightly packed beside other campers. Fishing is available 600 meters away at a small harbor.

Very small but super-cozy campsite. The bathrooms are vintage but clean, with hot water and free access. The receptionist is extremely friendly, as are some of the campers who stay for much of the summer. The lake is opposite the campsite, with a beach, and is very well maintained. It is worth going. Two adults, two children and the motorhome: €34.
We spent one night here. Positive: friendly female operator, delicious restaurant, location near the lake, and good walking opportunities with dogs. Negative: we were incredibly cramped next to our neighbors, with no separation between seasonal campers, motorhomes, caravans and tents. The immediate neighbors, who were seasonal campers, looked at us very skeptically on arrival. We did not feel welcome and would not return.
We ended up here while passing through. We arrived shortly before 10 p.m. and were warmly welcomed and given a place without a reservation. The female operator speaks German well. Everything you need is available.
There are two campsites in the area. We came here first, but thankfully we took a walk around the site before paying the (quite expensive) fee. The site looked a shambles. Lots of season campers and obviously no restrictions as to how they make camp. The mobile homes owners are left with spots in the middle of an open space with season campers all around you.
We almost lost faith driving here (no signs for a camping site along the way), but it was there and it was open! Next to a lake, basic services, friendly personnel. Stayed for one night. 310 sek with electricity (2 ppl, dog in a mobile home).
Nice campingspot. We stayed for one night with a VW Bus, 280 without electricity. Was very clean and plenty of spots left. Reception was kind and helpful. The campingground had toilets, warm limitless showers, a kitchen, Wifi and garbage cans all included. There is also a small shop and restaurant.
Small campsite, somewhat outdated but clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are open without separation. The lake is across the road. There is a small shop and a restaurant. We paid 330 SEK for four people and electricity.
Almost completely occupied by seasonal campers. For one night we got a place behind the cabins on a strip of grass where, probably just a few days earlier, sheep rather than a lawnmower had been at work. It was full of sheep droppings and smelled bad. The public beach opposite is good.
Nice little site; we were allowed to take a quiet place behind the cabins. The sanitary building was fine. Showers were free, though the temperature fluctuated a little. Campfire area at the back. Wi-Fi available. Friendly staff. Close to the beach. Located on a pilgrimage route. Fishing information is about 500 meters farther toward the marina.
Our rescue after we had found nothing all evening. Small campsite, open pitches, and very quiet in the evening.
Full campsite, with very little space between the campers. The shower is occasionally warm. Many loud people talking on the phone until late in the evening. Across the road there is a lovely little beach with a playground for the kids.
