Quiet spot on the Hiitolanjoki river with attractive scenery, fishing spots, and several well-marked walking paths. There is no toilet at the parking area, while the fireplace and fishing or swimming spot are 1km away. The nearby road is audible, but train traffic was limited to daytime.

After the rapids were restored a few years ago, a wonderful place has emerged here. Many well-marked hiking trails, such as a route around the lake in about 30 minutes. No toilet. The nearby train ran only during the day, so we had a relaxed and quiet night. Recommended.Translating
No toilets at the parking area. You can hear the road and train very clearly, even in the evening. The hiking trail was closed in 2022 due to work on the rapids. The place itself is still perfectly fine for one night. Caution is needed with children because of the dam and inadequate barriers around the water basin.Translating
