Tree-screened lay-by, serious litter

A large, unlit layby set back from the road and screened by trees and bushes. Litter is currently a serious problem, and there may be no flat spaces. Lorries come and go, causing occasional noise, while the EE phone signal is good.

unfortunately there were no flat spaces when we came, but we've stayed before and the litter is absolutely awful. Other than that, there is a good signal on EE and it's fairly quiet apart from the lorries coming and going occasionally.
Stayed here for 1 night 4/4/24. Quite busy with lorries and a few cars passed through but generally peaceful although quite a lot of rubbish dumped at the side.
Lots of rubbish and a few trucks drove past but otherwise it’s very much out of the way and nice easy place to park for the night! Definitely worth a stop if nearby.
