Been here?
A quiet campsite beside a large lake, with freely chosen pitches and beautiful views, swimming, fishing, and walking opportunities. Wi-Fi is good, and the site offers toilets, showers, kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi, washer, dryer, and a refrigerator, although the facilities are dated and some need renovation. The sanitary areas are generally clean, but the shower drainage and laundry equipment have received criticism. A sauna costs 500 SEK and canoe hire costs 100 SEK/h.

The place is really beautiful, and the owner is very friendly. Unfortunately, the facilities need renovation. The renovated service building is also not very successful. When showering, you are constantly standing in wastewater from the neighboring unit. The washing machine and dryer have long been due for replacement. I miss the care and attention for camping. It could be different with little investment.Translating
Great site. Everything the heart desires. Despite high season, there were relatively many vacant pitches. Beautiful hiking and cycling routes via Komoot or planned independently.Translating
Very beautiful campsite, not as crowded as other campsites nearby. We had a top pitch with a fantastic view of the lake. Reservations are not possible; whoever arrives first gets the best spot. On the reception side, the sanitary facilities are outdated but clean, including a free shower. On the other side there is a newer building with all the necessary facilities. Definitely recommended.Translating
A wonderful site with warm-hearted hosts and everything a camper needs. I spontaneously stayed longer and would come back anytime. The most perfect, imperfect place ❤️Translating
Very nice site, with good pitches along three terraces and additional spaces. Very attentive and friendly operators. Sanitary facilities are fine. We stayed for two nights at the end of June, when there were still several vacant pitches. Highlights include the sauna (500 SEK) and canoe rental (100 SEK/hour or 350 SEK/day). The area is a water-sports paradise, but the road is hardly busy.Translating
Simple campsite, somewhat dated. You can choose your own pitch, with a superb lake view and swimming access. Wi-Fi is also very good at the pitches. The sanitary facilities smell musty but are clean. Long-term campers with dogs occupied the common rooms entirely, which was unfortunate for us in the rain.Translating
Small but lovely. This place offers a lot of peace and relaxation. Crystal-clear lake with many options for fishing and walking. The owner is very nice. I can only recommend it.Translating
The surroundings are wonderfull and there are many find places for a camper or tent, placed right down to the lake. However, the facilities are old and tired but clean and works. So, look ng for a place in the middle of the nature, you have found it. Looking for up to date facilities, go somewhere else.
Very nice, peaceful lakeside site. The staff are very friendly and helpful, everything is uncomplicated, and you choose your pitch freely. In the off-season, check-in is by form, or between 5 and 6 p.m. We spontaneously stayed for two days. The surroundings are pleasant, with Bronze Age rock carvings, possible train trips twice daily between Bengtsfors and Mellerud, or simply access to the lake from the pier or by canoe. We also booked the lakeside sauna for two hours for 500 SEK—very relaxing. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old, partly renovated, cleanliness is acceptable, and the water is almost too hot. Stugas are also available for rent and look nice. We will definitely remember this site for next time!Translating
Nice, helpful owner; everything is uncomplicated. Beautifully situated by the lake with a pier, and free choice of pitch. If reception is unattended, just park and set up first. Quiet location, with only occasional trains. Large sanitary building with plenty of common space. Children's playground and a trampoline in the lake, plus play opportunities by the stream. Sauna available for rent.Translating
A very nice campsite in the countryside with a barbecue area, lakeside swimming spot, children's activities, sauna, and much more. There is an old sanitary area and a new one. A kitchen is also available with several cooking stations, including pots, dishes, and accessories. I would gladly return!Translating
Lovely quiet campsite, well maintained and clean. You can hire boats. There’s a great 5 km walk around a nature reserve and rock carvings from the campsite. We booked the sauna over the lake one night which was very relaxing. Stayed 3 nights early Aug, there were spaces each day.
Really beautiful campsite by the lake, with both old and new clean sanitary facilities on the other side. For us, the site is perfect.Translating
Actually five stars because the site is simply great. There is a fantastic playground for children and a trampoline in the water! The lake view is dreamy and the surroundings are beautiful. One star deducted for the few very basic toilets. We would definitely come back!Translating
Superb campsite, highly recommended! Enough space for several campers while still offering plenty of privacy. The terraced layout provides views of the lake. The sanitary facilities near the camper pitches are clean; those by reception are somewhat dated. We stayed for two nights and used the private sauna for two hours (500 SEK)—a dream!Translating
Very good, clean, and well located. A beautiful walk is nearby. We had one small problem because the electrical hookups at our pitch did not work properly. I really recommend it!Translating
Magnificent simple, natural campsite beside a lake with very clear water. Nice little beach with a trampoline, kayaks, and more. Well-equipped kitchen available, with electric kettle, microwave, coffee maker, and hotplates. Immaculate sanitary facilities. Few mosquitoes. The best part is the walk to a prehistoric site overlooking the lake, with magnificent rock paintings and carvings. Continue along the lake, where a flock of geese spends the summer. Easy return under the spruce trees and through the small farming village with beautiful enclosures where sheep and horses peacefully graze. Do not miss it under any circumstances—2.5 km of pure happiness!Translating
Really nice site. For SEK 380 including electricity (310 + 70) for one motorhome and two people, I expect better-maintained sanitary facilities. One toilet has a broken latch. The whole building is surrounded by an old, stale smell.Translating
Fantastic place! Very warm-hearted owner who speaks several languages very well. Everything here is completely hassle-free and you can truly relax. Because of the site's layout, you feel as though you are staying in the wilderness—and you are—and you do not feel watched by others at all. Great for children; everything has been considered! Good hiking is also possible.Translating
A fantastic campsite, absolutely quiet, relatively small, with a very nice owner who comes around on his moped in the evening to collect the pitch fees if nobody was at reception. Sanitary facilities are basic and clean. Directly on the lake with a swimming area. We stayed for four nights. We can only recommend the site.Translating
In our view, one of the most beautiful sites on our trip. We stayed for one night, and the site is terraced so everyone has a view of the lake. Very quiet and private. The owner eventually comes by motorcycle to collect payment. All credit cards accepted. There is also a barrel sauna for rent. Sanitary facilities are older but clean. Free Wi-Fi available.Translating
We spent 5 nights at this place and will come back if we are in the area. The owner is super helpful and kind. The pitches are big with a nice view over the lake while offering privacy. Showers and toilets are aged but were always clean. Showers are included with the fair pricing for the pitches. There is a fully equipped kitchen with chill-out area. A wash machine is available for 60SEK / use.
A quiet campsite directly on the lake. The facilities and price were fine for us—not the newest standard, certainly, but practical overall. Canoes can also be rented. We would stay here again.Translating
Beautiful, quiet campsite. Very, very long cables are needed to access electricity. The sanitary facilities are really very outdated and not all of them work. Washing machine out of order.
Super beautiful place. Nice people and the shower is spacious and good.
A beautiful campsite with many opportunities for activities. Sanitary facilities adequate and practical. We booked a pitch with electricity, but unfortunately there aren't enough electrical connections when there are many visitors. Wi-Fi was rather poor. We had hardly any phone signal, but otherwise we liked it. There is a sauna by the lake—arrive early to reserve it.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Choosing your own pitch is positive, but also chaotic. Access to the lake is nice; everything is very natural—partly too natural, as the grass had not been mowed for a while and looked somewhat neglected. The sanitary facilities date from the 1960s and are outdated, with cleanliness somewhat neglected in places. Otherwise, it is very beautiful, surrounded by nature, and quiet.
We came for one night and stayed for two. Great location. Small enough to still feel private. Perfect!
Very, very quiet location directly by a lake. There is a lounge/kitchen for bad weather. Friendly owner; we felt very comfortable.
