This small parking area directly on the Amper beside the water rescue station has space for 2-3 vehicles and no fees. The river offers direct water access, swimming and a nearby portable toilet. Despite the attractive setting, road traffic is clearly audible, with cars passing throughout the night. Walkers and cyclists frequently pass the motorhomes, and outdoor camping equipment is not appropriate.

Beautiful place, but quite noisy because of the nearby road. Many pedestrians and cyclists pass the motorhome.
Beautiful place, directly by the water, with steps down to the water and a portable toilet. Slightly sloping location. No fees. We stayed there for one night from Saturday to Sunday. However, we barely slept because cars drove past all night. Definitely too noisy for us, even with earplugs...
Actually a beautiful place, but the roads around the roundabout can clearly be heard, until 11 p.m. It was not for me, so I moved elsewhere.
Beautiful place to spend the night, directly on the Amper.
Many spaces, about 20. To find a spot, go late in the day or early in the morning. We slept alone and it was very peaceful.
