Scenic picnic area, overnight ban

Beautiful views, starting point for several routes. The place is very quiet; we spent one night there alone. There is a water fountain and picnic benches. The access track can easily be driven slowly; no 4x4 is needed.

There is now a 2.10-metre height restriction right at the entrance from the main road. The place is nice for a picnic, but overnight stays are prohibited.

There is a barrier at 2.10 m.

Dirt track used by 4x4s and some vans. The upper ground has sharp rocks. We stayed two nights, but many people came every day to have barbecues. In the small parking area, there are at most only a couple of flat spaces. There is a sign prohibiting camping.

I went a little farther down for a bit more peace and quiet. It is a sheep-grazing area. In the morning, the shepherd brought them down from the mountain. The sheep came very close to my 4x4. It is noisy, but that is part of the folklore of the Pyrenees! :)

A great place, with a drinking-water fountain. Many hiking routes start from the parking area. The access track is about 500 metres long and generally in good condition; you need to drive slowly, but it is fine with a small van.

It is a wonderful place with spectacular views. There is an abundant water fountain and, according to the park regulations, overnight stays in a vehicle are allowed. We are in a designated parking area. The natural park's own website states: “As for overnight stays inside a vehicle, they are only permitted in designated parking areas, without deploying exterior elements.”

The place is truly wonderful. The access track is gravelly, but you can climb it easily if you take your time, even without an especially tall vehicle. We slept alone, although hikers arrive early in the morning. On 30 March it snowed, although it did not accumulate much and we were able to leave without too much difficulty. If snow is forecast, bring chains.

Beautiful views, little parking space, but not very busy. During the day, hikers and cyclists pass through. At night it is very quiet; we were alone, enjoying spectacular stars. Picnic tables and a water fountain. No coverage with some providers (Movistar does work). We took the beautiful and easy route to Coll Bassotes.

Very quiet place at night; during the day, quite a few people pass through for walks! Near the village: 10 minutes by car, 1 hour 30 minutes on foot. Beautiful views. Recommended if you do not need services. There is a picnic area. The track is a little rocky but easy to climb!
