Rather unsuitable for motorhomes. The space is very tight. We did not feel comfortable and left after two days. The site manager is extremely nice and the sanitary facilities are very clean, but we do not need them. Next time I would prefer the site on the other side of the Main.

Loved the ambience at this family oriented camping. Very friendly atmosphere and beautiful location next to Main and under the Linden tree.

Very friendly, spontaneous, and always available for questions. Great area, the site is directly on the river. Quick route to the old town. Playground nearby. Toilets, showers, waste water/fresh water, washing machines, dryers, electricity everywhere—perfect. Prices listed here are not current, but about €60 for two nights with three people and electricity; you cannot complain. We would gladly come again.

Great site in a perfect location; admission to the swimming pool was even free. Bread-roll service, super-friendly owner—things could hardly be better. Sanitary facilities accessible 24/7.

Small but lovely campsite. Extremely laid-back owners. Great swimming pool next door. Five minutes to the beautiful old town with many nice restaurants. Ten minutes to the train station!

When we called to inquire, we were told that there would be a birthday party in the evening and that it could be noisy until 1 a.m. We chose another site. Many thanks for the warning!

Pitches very close together. We came for two days and were told that it was not possible, which actually suited us well. A shame, because the town is very nice.

Nice campsite, with a great, straightforward owner. Sanitary facilities reasonably clean. However, the motorhomes are parked very close together and the site is generally very full. Free admission to the outdoor pool next door, and a beautiful little town is very close on foot. Price €30 for two adults, one child and electricity.

We were allowed to stay there for one night without a booking, after calling beforehand. Super-nice owners. Outdoor pool next door. The beautiful town is quickly reachable on foot. Suitable for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Bread rolls available around the corner. We would gladly return.

This was a good recommendation and we are still going to stay at the site.

We stood directly in front of the Main and could watch the boats passing by. Wonderful. The site is small and manageable and has everything we need. Great showers and clean toilets, washing machine and dryer. We could take lovely walks with the dog. The old town of Karlsberg is just around the corner and invites you to stroll around comfortably. We would gladly return.
