A free parking area near a community hall, with walking access to beautiful beaches and space for around 3–4 campervans, including larger vehicles. A £10 donation provides access to clean toilets, showers, drinking water, a cafe and Wi-Fi at the community centre. The road is quiet, though spaces can be close together and busy in August. Phone signal has recently been reported as perfect, and inquisitive cows may visit.

Very nice spot for the night with great facilities (shower, toilet, cafe) near at the community center. The beaches on both sides are beautiful! Perfect phone signal. 10£ donation.
Space for around 3–4 campervans, also suitable for larger vehicles. However, you park very close to each other, which may not be for everyone. I decided to move on because of that. The nearby beaches are beautiful though. The view from the parking spot itself is okay, but there are definitely better spots on the island. I personally enjoy having more of a view from the van.
We loved this stopover! Flat pitch, quiet road with two beautiful beaches and we were treated to the most amazing sunset. Nice clean facilities. Personally feel £10 was reasonable.
Stunning place to stay! Two amazing beaches either side. £10 to stay the night through honesty box up by the Community cafe, hall and through that access to shower, water and toilet! Support and respect the locals!
Good spot. No view, but an excellent location. Within a few minutes’ walk there are three beautiful sandy beaches. Relatively busy in August when the weather is good.
Good spot for a night, stayed here after arriving on the ferry like many other reviews. Arrived around 6pm and was quite busy in all the lay-bys, managed to squeeze in for the night! Lovely beaches on both sides and we did the vatersay trail in the morning which was lovely :)
Stayed here for one night after arriving on the Oban to Barra ferry, easy to get to and a few other cars around but plenty of space! Lovely to watch the sunset on the west beach at night, and then go for a morning swim on the east side beach. Facilities were nice and very well kept by the local community!
We spent 2 lovely nights here. The showers and toilets are very clean, the flap jacks form the shop ( vegan) and delicious. There’s three beautiful beaches to walk to, two very close and one on the vatersay trail. Stunning scenery. There’s also a cake shed with lots of freshly cooked goodies daily.
Excellent evening after doing the circular walk, community hall cafe was nice and friendly. The beach was amazing to say the least. Don’t forget to pay your way too. Ta
Perfect place for a couple of nights. 4G coverage on O2. Lovely cafe just up the road which has toilet, shower - need £1 coins - and Wi-Fi.
Great stop next to beaches and a café with great cakes, plus a little pink shed that provides homemade cakes. We like cakes!
Nice place to explore the island. There is also a sign here saying that overnight stays cost £10, which you are happy to pay for this peaceful spot.
