Forest parking, gravel approach

A previous user already wrote that the stated 15 spaces are exaggerated. I think one should remember that this is a hiking parking lot for climbers and hikers. In our view, there should be a maximum of five small motorhomes here. Otherwise, a prohibition sign will probably appear soon. The access road is also somewhat narrow.

Quiet place to spend the night. A garbage bin would be nice. Please do not throw away rubbish, so the site can continue to bring joy to many people.

What a great spot! When we arrived already plenty of vans, but you can easily fit up to 8-10. Calm and amazing spot in a greenery. Actually we are back for a second time, on our way to austria ;)

Stayed here overnight and I can highly recommend. Gravel road last 50 meters but drivable with large camper. Quiet overnight, few other motorhomes. Great sleep.

Beautiful views, a bit secluded from the road, next to the forest. Gravel road to access, plenty of space for 10-15 campers. Toi-toi toilet just on the spot. Climbing places nearby, in season is full of climbers, expect company.

I arrived quite late and there were already several campers. You can sleep peacefully, there is a portable toilet, and it is ideal for walking the dogs. I will certainly use this place again while passing through.

Excellent parking area next to the forest and cultivated fields, with pleasant scenery. Clean and very quiet, with two other campers present, probably climbers. There is also a well-maintained chemical toilet.

The best thing about this place is how peaceful it is. Ideal if you are going to Franken to climb and do not want to spend money on campsites. We stayed overnight here for three weeks and had a great time. There are filling and emptying facilities in Lauf an der Pegnitz, 20 minutes away, and an Aldi five minutes away. Wheel chocks are recommended, as it is not completely level. It fills up on weekends. Zero noise; the motorway can only be heard very faintly at night and outside the van.

Beautiful view, very slight motorway noise, spotless portable toilet, slight slope. There were several others spending the night, and everyone was very considerate. In short: a perfect overnight stay!

We were unlucky with the weather, and because this is a wood-storage area, the ground was very muddy from the rain. The portable toilet was clean. You can go on several hikes or go climbing from this location.
