As mentioned elsewhere, a very warm welcome in a simple, warmly decorated room. Simple but very generous menu. We greatly enjoyed the well-stocked cheese platter, from which everyone serves themselves. Very reasonable prices. Free space provided for vehicles and motorhomes. Good luck to this young man. Yes, it’s delicious. You feel comfortable. It’s like being at home, and so are the dishes;-(. Very average value for money.
A stop not to be missed under any circumstances: the restaurant alone is worth the trip, and for its welcome, many grand restaurants should take lessons. Bravo, keep it up—it is truly classy.
A winter stop, with snow: one night in the restaurant car park—and not to be missed. Go eat at Chez Monique, a simple but good and very generous meal, with a very pleasant exchange at the end of the meal as a digestif!
