10 Carrer de Maó, 17250, Platja d'Aro
Been here?
A small parking area beneath trees beside a park, about 100 m from the beach and close to the town centre. It has no motorhome services, but nearby are bins and a potable-water tap. Access can be difficult for large motorhomes because surrounding streets are often tightly parked, and a sprinkler may run around 1:00 for about 1 hour in May. Police have recently said that overnight stays are not permitted here.

We had a great stay, but the neighbours complained and the police came. They very politely told us that we could not spend the night. In our case we were completely closed up, with no windows open, but rather than argue we left. They told us to go up to the area where the duck roundabout is, on the right. Now they are all arriving one after another.
In May, a lawn sprinkler runs at 1:00 a.m. for about an hour, and at irregular intervals the water splashes onto the motorhome. Sleeping is then impossible. Access is difficult for large motorhomes because the access roads are often tightly parked on both sides; one road was even completely blocked because a small bus stuck too far into it. In winter the place was fine.
Good place outside the season, 100 metres from the beach and the centre, but without services.
I recommend this spot for vans: rubbish bin and drinking water nearby, next to the beach. I will return.
Very peaceful and somewhat sheltered from the crazy wind these days.
Parking under the trees in the park right next door, close to the beach, which you can follow along the cliff edges. Splendid scenery.
We were there at the beginning of February and spent a night free of charge without any problems, so close to the sea. Highly recommended.
Quiet and very peaceful night. Under the trees, next to a small park and just a few steps from the beach. Level parking spaces.
Perfect. A few steps from the town centre and the beach. Parking spaces under the trees. Quiet neighbourhood at this time of year. A 7.65-metre vehicle can reverse in. Opposite a small park with water taps and bins.
At the beginning of January, we spent a pleasant night in this parking area. The scenery is beautiful, it is quiet, not far from the town centre and right next to the beach. There are bins, potable running water and benches, but no toilet. We were able to walk our dog.
A great, quiet parking area in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, right by the dog park and only a stone’s throw from the centre and beach. We would gladly return.
We spent one night here; quiet area, very good.
Quite nice place to stay overnight. Not crowded at all. Some locals around the park in the evening, littering and playing loud music till about 11pm. Very close to the sea and city centre. No water available (first mid-Dec). Place for vans and campers up to 7m.
Very quiet place (mid-October), and just a stone’s throw from the town centre and the sea. There is also a water point. In summer, it is shaded by pine trees.
Very peaceful at this time of year, even though it was a weekend. The night was a little noisy at first, but then it became quiet and safe. I do not know what it is like in summer. Small park, good if you have a dog. It is a shame to find bottles and cans when there are bins everywhere. Sad.
We spent a very peaceful night, 15 minutes from the centre.
Great parking area. We left the camper there and walked into the city, which is very large and lively. We had a very quiet night. Many spaces were free.
Free parking, ideal for cars and not-too-large campers. Convenient for going to the beach; the city centre is a 15-minute walk away. Quiet night.
Excellent place. With a bit of luck, I parked my 7.5-metre vehicle with the overhang on the grass. There is also a drinking-water fountain. Ten minutes from the centre.
Quiet parking under the pines, in front of a small park with a water fountain. Quiet night. Convenient for walking into the centre or to the beach.
We arrived and visited the town centre, which is 10 minutes away. Quiet night, peaceful place shaded by pine trees. There were three motorhomes. Ours is 7 metres long and there was no problem given the length.
Second time I have come here, outside the season, and it is really great for a parking area: quiet and safe. There were four motorhomes and vans. Still 200 metres from the beach and 10 minutes from the town centre. The bins are right next to it and there is a small green park just behind.
We parked our motorhome here, 7.5 metres long, without any problem. There were others like it. Very quiet. 12 October.
Very little traffic on the street at this time of year, perfect for a van. Close to the sea and town. Very quiet night.
A good spot with a water connection and benches right next to a park. Two minutes from the beach. Quiet area, 10 minutes from the city centre. Shade from the trees.
It seems to be a good spot, but it is difficult to find a place. Just steps from the beach and alongside a very leafy park.
We could not park; it is complicated, and for motorhomes I would say no, although when we passed by there was one trying to park, but I did not stay to see the outcome. Many trees, a fountain and bins, and it can be quite peaceful.
Perfect, quiet at night, with a fountain nearby.
Incredible spot! Completely shaded, quiet and 100 metres from the beach! We felt safe there. No problem finding a place during the day, but a little more difficult in the evening, even though spaces turn over. We were there during the week. No problem with our 6-metre motorhome; longer vehicles will also fit easily in reverse, with the rear overhanging onto the lawn.
We parked here today to visit the beach. You have to be careful with the height because of the trees—our camper is 3.2 metres high—but otherwise it is a great parking area. Recommended.
The spot is suitable only for vans, panel vans or motorhomes up to 6 metres maximum. Very quiet because it is outside the season; 10 minutes from the town centre and 3 minutes from the beach.
