This is a small picnic area on a bend, with a superb view over the heights of Honeck and two villages in the valley, plus a picnic table. Overnight stays are possible, but the ground is distinctly uneven and sloping. The road is lightly used, although some cars pass, especially in the morning. It is best suited to medium-sized motorhomes.

We were there; it is crooked and uneven. I have no idea how anyone is supposed to stand level here. We found a great little spot farther up the road.
Beautiful picnic spot with a wonderful view over Munster and the Munster Valley. A little uneven for sleeping, but manageable with some maneuvering. Some cars passed by, especially in the morning, but this did not bother us at all. The picnic table and fire pit are additional advantages.
You do indeed have to continue a little farther down. I took the dirt road for 20 meters, and the view over the valley is incredible.
Lovely spot with a superb view. Along a road, but little traffic. Quiet night. Picnic table is a plus.
Superb spot for spending the night and watching the sunrise from the front row. We were lucky there was no wind, as the spot is quite exposed. We heard only a few cars passing, but the road is very quiet. Please respect the place during your visit!
