Camping Rokosjøen is a small campsite beside Rokosjøen lake, with quiet natural surroundings, hiking trails and pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Recent visitors praised the clean toilets, lakeside pitches, café, sauna and peaceful setting, although the price was considered high. Kitchen use costs 50 NOK, and WiFi has been reported as weak near the main building. Canoes and rowing boats can be rented, and fishing in the lake is free.

Very good campsite. Quiet, spacious, clean toilets, everything needed for motorhome services on site, and a sauna.
Beautiful campsite with very kind and enthusiastic owners. Walks start from the campsite, and we had a spot by the lake. Last night we ate homemade reindeer stew and cake made by the owner, and this morning we had fresh bread rolls. Highly recommended; the price is somewhat high, but we had just come from Sweden.
A nice place in itself. However, the value for money is unreasonable. Wi-Fi is too weak even near the main building. Use of the kitchen costs extra.
A very sweet, small campsite. Super quiet beside a small lake. We received a very friendly welcome and could order bread rolls for the next day. Late arrival was also possible.
Wonderful campsite, beautifully quiet location by the water. We parked our camper directly beside the water. A swimming spot is within walking distance, and canoes can be rented at the campsite. The facilities are excellent and the managers are very friendly and service-oriented. We stayed an extra day and will definitely return.
When driving in, it looks more like a messy operation. Looks can be deceiving. Nice café with terrace, excellent sanitary facilities, wonderful silence, and beautiful views. Two comments: there are too few sanitary facilities when it is busy. A small stock of groceries would be desirable.

Very nice place directly by the lake. The peace and quiet was unique. Sanitary facilities were clean and in excellent condition. We were travelling south on the E6 and this little detour was really worthwhile!
The place was fine. Toilets in good condition. The grass area was great for the camper. But the price is definitely too high: 540 NOK for two adults and two children. Not justified.
Cosy, very pleasant place directly by the lake! The sanitary facilities are clean and have everything you need. Recommended if you want to enjoy your holiday in nature, somewhat off the beaten track.
Very friendly welcome, very clean sanitary facilities, and beautiful spots by the lake. You can order delicious pizza here. On entering, it looks a bit untidy, but once you enter reception that impression disappears. One point: if all spaces are occupied, there are too few showers and toilets. A place worth returning to.
We specifically went to the campsite to do laundry. One night cost 490 NOK. The washing machine costs 60 NOK for 90 minutes. Since there was probably too much in the machine, it did not finish the programme within the selected hour, so we had to pay another 60 NOK for it to finish. The dryer also costs 60 NOK.
Not recommended, too expensive at 490 NOK. At first glance, the site seems to be closed because of the derelict wooden sheds. We were charged extra for the baby! The site was empty, yet we were assigned the space next to the only other camper. In the morning there was no water in the women’s showers. The washing machine costs at least 60 NOK extra, charged by programme duration. Two stars for the proximity to the lake.
Top view of a beautiful lake. We stood directly beside the water. There was practically nobody there. Fishing in the lake is free. Swimming is rather difficult because access is poor. Price: 490 NOK plus 40 NOK for a child aged 10 or over. Showers and toilets clean and well maintained. Very friendly operator. We thought it was great.
A lovely, clean, quiet site, 402 NOK per night for a motorhome, everything included. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who arranged the European Championship football on a big screen for two people.
A beautifully peaceful place with a friendly owner. Good for birdwatchers. Lots of room between parking places.

The advertised price is only for two people; a child aged 10 or over costs an extra 40 kroner. The lakeside location is practically only useful for the view. Swimming is not possible. Pitches are 8 metres wide, too narrow for the price. Three people including electricity: 450 NOK. Electricity is charged by consumption via an app. We used 3 kWh. We have stayed much better for this price.
