It is a good starting point for walking along the Victoria Lines, with wider panoramic views from the wall. A no-camping sign stands at the entrance, and the area is popular with locals for weekend picnics.

Convenient place but felt strange to stay as there is a no camping sign at the entrance. Left again.
Beautiful, quiet place. Very popular with locals as a picnic spot on weekends. Good starting point for walking part of the Victoria Lines.
There are actually several good parking possibilities. Usually, there is no great view directly from the pitch. But if you climb onto the wall, the panorama is worth seeing. A relaxed place to stop while traveling.
