Been here?
This quiet nature spot offers a scenic overnight stay, with a small swimming area along a path behind the tunnel. Access was not possible for one camper measuring 6.50, and the space is best suited to one vehicle. The landowner allows stays of up to 2 nights, while a museum farther across the island rents rowboats.

Beautiful place. But entry was impossible for our 6.50-meter camper. We had to drive on.
A beautiful place with a stressful approach. Anyone who parks here with another vehicle must enjoy close company. Maximum one vehicle.
Great place, excellent views and tranquility; we were there with two vehicles.
Complete peace and quiet for the night.
Beautiful place! We were alone and had a peaceful night. Truly recommended :)
Breathtaking setting! We were alone and it was a dream! If you can stop here, don't hesitate!
Beautiful place, but completely full and with a long approach.
Beautiful place with a magnificent view. Please leave it tidy. The fourth picture is from another location. What a shame; we would have liked a matching, beautiful photo.
A really beautiful place, if only all the shit left by numerous previous visitors weren't lying around! If you need to shit, please go farther into the forest, or use a plastic bag, take your stuff with you, and dispose of it! A local was there and said this place would soon be closed if this doesn't stop.
A really fantastic, quiet parking area with a view. A little windy, but absolutely great.
Wonderful view and very quiet at Midsummer, Saint John’s Eve. The fourth picture is not from here.
Excellent and very peaceful. More than one car is crowded, and most of us prefer to park alone. Private spot and only for vans with toilet, not rooftents aso. Max 2 nights according to landowner. Leave the place clean! PS read comments from McMad below!
Very nice place! We stayed here with two vehicles for two nights. Great for fishing! Fine for walking. Unfortunately, it was quite windy when we were there, and borderline for two rooftop tents. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer :)
Incredibly beautiful parking area. Possibly one of the most beautiful of the entire trip. Breathtaking view and yet completely alone. If you are being very particular, the birds living there may bother you; they make an enormous amount of noise from 6 a.m. It is also possible to launch a SUP from there into the fjord.
A superb parking area with an incredible view! Through the tunnel on the right by the electricity pole, as described, there is a swimming spot equipped with a jetty and a table for sitting. There is also a diving board in the water. About a 10-minute walk, and well worth it!
Beautiful place. Thank you for allowing us campers to stay here. Please keep the place clean and leave no trace.
Absolutely incredible parkup. Mostly level with a beautiful view. One of the best parkups so far in my few weeks in Norway
This is private property. Parking is permitted for up to two motorhomes that have their own toilet, for a maximum of two nights. All camping with tents and small cars is prohibited. If this is not respected, the landowner is considering closing the area. Keep this in mind when you plan to spend the night there.
Very nice parking area for one night, surrounded by water. In our opinion, the houses are far enough away that we didn't feel watched. The road side was quiet at night, but it was very windy.
You can fish wonderfully here; there is a settlement opposite where people occasionally do some sawing.
Perfect place to spend one night. Super quiet with incredible views. Space for two campers.
Spent calm days and nights there. Really friendly locals, greeting you. Many of them have boats to ride out into the sea, you will see and hear it. Could be windy there. About 4,5 km footwalk till the end of the island to a local museum, worth seeing it and nice walk to the museum. Very good phone connection. Space for 2-3 vans. Good spot for fishing. In the nights just bird chirping.
Beautiful and quiet.
