Lighthouse parking, exposed and windy

Not recommended for large motorhomes, especially on busy days: there is no room to maneuver. The last stretch of road is narrow, with little room to pass another vehicle, and runs along the cliff.

Accessible by motorhome (6.20 m × 2.40 m), with the last 300 meters narrower. Spectacular downhill arrival at the lighthouse. Very beautiful view and an impressive drop to the sea. You have to maneuver to enter and leave the parking area, but it is doable.

Spectacular place; although the road remains narrow, it is well worth going there. We did not stay overnight, but it seems it must be very peaceful.

It is really as described. We were there today; we have a seven-meter vehicle and you can get there very easily.

This really is a special place. We were here alone at night. Unfortunately, it was rather cloudy, but it was still wonderful.

The road to get there is as described in the previous comments, but it is also accessible with large motorhomes; ours is a 7-meter-long, 3-meter-high semi-integrated motorhome. We arrived in the evening and avoided traffic, and spent the night there. Very quiet.

Spectacular. Like something from a movie. Access is complicated with traffic, especially with useless drivers behind the wheel (holidays, long weekends, vacations...).

You need to plan ahead when parking so you do not get trapped by other cars. The road there is otherwise no problem.

Wonderful parking area at the end of the world. In October you are alone.

Wildly romantic, very windy parking area, whose spaces and access roads are tight (over 6 m becomes difficult). Extra-flat space for a motorhome available. No waste disposal, toilets, or fresh water.

Extraordinary views, a very quiet place where you can sleep for free, without services or even a bin. You have to arrive early to get a place if you are in a motorhome and want to see incredible sunsets! I do not know what people find difficult about maneuvering... unless the parking lot was packed... there is no difficulty at all. Recommended.

The place is magnificent without a doubt. To access it by motorhome, as indicated, if you go through the village you will have serious problems getting out. If you stay on the main road, it is very narrow and dangerous; two motorhomes would struggle to pass each other. The final parking area is difficult to maneuver in and, if there are cars, as is usual, almost impossible. I do not recommend going by motorhome. Perhaps in a camper van.

Excellent for enjoying the sunset and sunrise (in our case with fog!). The wind can be a little annoying, but in general it is very quiet. Maneuvering is somewhat difficult, especially if you arrive while cars are still there. Recommended!

The place is worth it, apart from the curiosity of being the divide between the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic, because of its beauty. We encountered some fog, which is common in this area. Access is complicated (do not go through Cariño's old town). Do not follow the GPS; follow the signs. Even then it takes you along a tricky road if cars are badly parked. Go slowly. We arrived fine with a 7.5-meter vehicle.

The view and atmosphere justify the narrow road and limited maneuvering space needed to get there. We stayed with another 10 campers/vans, but there was still enough space. Cars come and go until late, and if you are staying overnight it is better to arrive before 8 p.m. With the lighthouse, goats, and sea view, it is certainly the most beautiful place where we have spent the night.

We only went to see it with the motorhome after sleeping in Cariño. Warning! There was very little wind in the village, but by the lighthouse it was terrible; it moved the motorhome even while parked. Leaving the parking area, with the bend and strong wind, ultimately went well, but it was nerve-racking until we were completely out.

Beautiful location, parking for about 7–8 motorhomes if parked properly, absolutely quiet and worthwhile in good weather. In the town beforehand, Cariño, drive slowly at first and take the first, unfortunately very inconspicuous sign for Cabo Ortegal. The road goes uphill around the town. The return journey also uses this route, where there is a no-motorhomes sign.

The most beautiful place where we slept. Quiet night; we were alone there in March. Tourists arrived until sunset. We felt safe. No mobile signal; the farther from the cliff, the weaker it is.

Stunning landscape. A thrilling road with a large vehicle. The fear is worth it. There is little space for parking and maneuvering. We had no problems in March.

Incredible and peaceful place . Amazing at sunset and sunrise . We were the only ones staying the night ( apart from the goats!) Best to park slightly away from the cliff face as there was evidence of recent rockfall .

Sleeping in a place like this was a privilege: starry sky, watching the sunrise and the sea... The parking area is not as windy because of the rocks behind it, so it is sheltered. But it is better not to park right against the rock wall; stones often fall and can damage our vehicles.

Amazing, the place is breathtaking. We spent the night there completely alone. There is only 3G internet, but that does not matter.

Incredibly meditative view! Great parking area. We only stopped there briefly and then continued driving. But the view at the lighthouse is breathtaking.

Parking area without services. We spent the night without problems with two other vans/motorhomes. There is space for about 10 motorhomes, with paved but somewhat sloping ground. Beautiful views and quiet. There is no signal in the parking area; you have to go under the lighthouse.
